Hello, I think it is better when I post all my current sprites in one thread.
Therefore, here some sprites:

Those aren't spears. Those are probaly more like a Guan dao, Glaive or Bisento. They are staff weapons with a blade on top. Even though they can be thrown, they are seriously unbalanced for an accurate and far reaching throw. Those weapons are used for ranged close combat. In real close proximity they function as regular staff weapons, while at a longer range they cal be used as swords. They are very good weapons for horse mounted soldiers and attacking horse mounted soldiers. Their true strength lies in ranged sweep that would use the full lenght of the staff. But hey it is not as if everyone knows that.

Spears have more symetrical points made for little wind resistance. A spears point is small and simple. If you want to make a throwing spear you should take a look at the Javelin type. The Link sprites look nice.

I thought it was a Javelin.

Anyways, where is that compass from? I can't put my finger on it but it looks really familiar and its not from TWW or PH. Is it from a company's logo?

I think everything looks good, but that Triforce doesn't look like it fits the rest. Other than that, great job!

Actually, you cannot take credit for the compass as it is a blatant copy of the Safari Icon unless you credit it.



All you did was shrink it(or found a smaller image) and removed the loop.

They are all meant for thrusting and sweeping, not throwing.

I think its almost done.
I just would make some changes on cap of side view (it need do move a bit more),
and change the spear sprite (the MC one).

Its a nice work.

I tried to make a new textbox. Here is the result:

The template was a Spirit Track cover.
Do you think it is good? Green is a risky color for a textbox.
Therefore...what color would you use for a textbox? Maybe you can help me with this choise...

The text box looks nice, but it still uses way too many colors. So, you should reduce the amount of colors. Furthermore, the  box looks a little bit too angular. But it definitely fits with MC-style. Sure, green is a risky color, but you could recolor it, e.g. you could use the colors of the text box in MC.  ;)

That looks great! What engine is the screenshot from? or is it a mockup?

I like it but the text could be brighter to make it stick out more idk how u would get brighter then white tho lol

This is Sahittams engine.
However I combine this engine with the Zelda Community Engine to make something.
