I started a project with DJvenom a while back before Mother 3 was announced as almost finished. I put it off to the side waiting for Mother 3 to come out and see how the story unfolds in hopes it doesn't go against my Fan Game's story. Unfortunately it does, so I'm currently working with DJ in rewriting some things in the story and we're going to be working on the game this summer. It's now title MotherBound (formerly Newfound Hope) and is going to take place between Mother 2 (EarthBound in US) and Mother 3.

That looks pretty good so far. And I'm wondering.... you've been keeping in touch with DJ? How? I thought he wasn't able to go online or something, for whatever reason?

Looks good! I especially like that you are using some new characters. Oh, and I like your Ness sprite. It's interesting to see him without a hat.
I have to ask, what is this being made in? RPG Maker? C++? Is it a rom heck? None of the above? :P
Anyway, good luck with this project. I have high expectations for it! ;)

Uhhh... since when? He's on Pixeltendo (tSR's forum) like every day. That's how I contacted him to ask premission to use one of his sprites.

Thats just one of the many enemies Vance, Ness and Co. will be facing off against in EB: MotherBound.
As for what it's going to be made in? I haven't figured that part out yet lol. Once I have the first area's map finished, we might throw together a demo or something. I'll be working on this game all summer. Also, one thing that makes EarthBound so great is the cameos and refrences. You'll see a lot of that in this game (that's what makes games like these so awesome :D).

I just started playing Mother 2 (though I had to restart since the rom freezed whenever I got to level 9 >_>;) but I didn't know that there's a Mother 3! :o That's interesting... The screens look good, yet unlikely and different from Mother 2... But I'm looking forward to that project anyway! ^___^

I wanted to add sound to it and present it in a better Trailer format, but this is all I had available to me at the moment.
