New Portal Ending

Fire up your copy of Portal, open the dev console and type "changelevel escape_02" to jump to near the GLaDOS fight, go beat her, and watch the new extended ending. Go ahead, I'll wait.

wasn't that !@#$% awesome? :D Extremely excited for whatever all this crazy ARGing and stuff has been about (Portal 2 please please please please please)

Wait wait wait; "New" portal ending?

Wouldn't that only apply if this ending were part of an update and not part of the launch release? :P

Yeah. Portal was updated, now when you beat the game there's a new ending. And its not really "new", more "extended". Just go do eet!

So everybody thinking that !@#$% on steam or whatever yesterday had something to do with HL2e3 just got their dreams shat on by having a currently completed game have an alternate ending?

Hi, I'm Gabe Newell. Thank you for purchasing the orange box 3 years ago. We now have an extended ending for portal. After 3 years of development, hopefully it will have been worth the wait. I get about 10,000 complaints per expansion to a game we released 3 years ago, and while I don't respond to them all, I do laugh deeply at every one of them. Thank you, and enjoy the game... again.

Stop defending Valve. Episode Three will never come out. Portal 2 will come out in two years or so, it'll be great. Portal 3 will be promised and never finished. Valve can only make two games in a series before sucking their own money making DICK for a while.

You can't really say that you're "obviously" killed. They might be bringing you to a holding facility, or a new test center, or some other sort of thing that I can't imagine right now. Certainly the killing is a possibility, but I don't think its that simple.

Anyways, yes Nick, that would be loads of fun. The robot drags you off to a new testing facility where you can do MORE pointless Portal tests. They should have just left the game amazing as it was. Sequel is totally unnecessary. I agree with DJ, the robot totally just kills her.
