[Wii] Virtual Console

Now that the Wii has been out worldwide, and exactly 1 month since last November, I wanted to ask you guys something. What games on the Virtual Console have you bought, and what games do you want to get/looked forward to?

I bought a 2000 Wii Points card yesterday (yeah, sorry a little late. :P)

I currently have the following:

Sega Genesis
Gunstar Heroes

TurboGrafx-16
Bonk's Adventure
Bomberman '93

I haven't figured out how to get 5 player working yet, but I think it's either 4 Wii Remotes plus 1 GCN controller, or vice versa. I don't have 4 Wii Remotes, so I'm gonna keep trying the 4 GCN Controllers + 1 Wii Controller then. But other than that, it's fun. As. Hell. Gunstar Heroes is by far worth your pretty penny.

I was tempted to buy Mario 64, but Mario 64 DS is ten times better. :P

So what games do you want to see? Personally I'd like to see the following:

NES: Zelda 2: Adventure of Link
SNES: Chrono Trigger, Super Mario Bros. All Stars + Super Mario World
Sega Genesis: Sonic the Hedgehog 3 + Knuckles, Vectorman
TurboGrafx-16: Ninja Spirit, Ys 2
Nintendo 64: Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Paper Mario

I actually Own Zelda 2 and Sonic the Hedgehog + Knuckles, and I really want to play Paper Mario without an emulator. So yeah.

Update: Oh, and lol. I just found out something neat. Using ESRB's site, I found out the following Virtual Console games going to be released soon:

Street Fighter II: The World Warrior
Dungeon Explorer
PilotWings
Punch-Out
Kirby's Adventure
Kid Icarus

+ so much more. Those are just some of the games coming out soon. I CAN'T WAIT!

I must admit that in fact the Virtual Console is way better than when I first thought about it...
However, I still don't have my internet configured on my Wii :(
But when I do, I'll try to buy: Legend of Zelda (NES - The one I most want), Sonic the Hedgehog (Mega Drive), Gunstar Heroes (Mega Drive) and F-Zero (SNES) :D

I don't yet have a Wii, so Virtual Console is out of the question. However I'd like to see what they plan on doing with Virtual Console in the near future. There is so much they could do, and it could be very community involved if they went about it correctly.

I'd like to see:

NES: Milon's Castle
SNES: Donkey Kong 1-3
N64: OoT, Majora's Mask, Wetrix.

Really my only requests. :P I'd also like to see new development of classic games, maybe an updated revision of a Link to the past, or better yet maybe some fan games, or other *new* games created for the classic systems. They need to get community involvement, they've said they're going to do it, I want to see it happening.

I don't own any VC games, as I don't have a Wii yet :P But I'm looking forward to playing some old favorites. I really hope they get games such as:

Link to the Past
Final Fantasy(any and all)
Chrono Triger
Seiken Densetsu(any and all)

I would also love to see them start putting GBC games on there, such as OoA/S.

I hope they have

  • Act Raiser (SNES)
  • Act Raiser 2 (SNES)
  • Sim City (SNES)
  • Ocarina of Time (N64)
  • Goldeneye (N64)
  • Majora's Mask (N64)
  • Super Mario RPG (SNES)
  • Super Mario Paint (SNES) I don't know how they will work the mouse functions in???

me and my brother (kylink) have no vc games yet... i'm mainly waiting for any Dragon Quest games

also Square-Enix officially announced that there putting games on the vc.

I want Paper Mario & Perfect Dark & GoldenEye & Super Mario Kart(SNES) & Super Mario Kart 64 that's it I think so far.

I dont know if my speculations on the VC are right but on wii.nitendo.com doesnt it say that its going to be a groundbreaking games library? im presuming that in all due time we will see every nintendo game out there available to download. I believe this is a great development by nintendo and is one of the reasons im buying my Wii with TP next week ;D

Anyways. I'd really like to see MM, since I've never played it. :D Also, they should add GB/GBC/GBA games, other new (old) consoles, and indie/fangames. :d

WW won't because it's a GC game and the wii plays GC games.
