And I hope they revert the change to the !@#$% box system which they implemented with HeartGold and SoulSilver. It's freaking impossible to navigate through my PC box whenever I simply want to move a Pokémon from one box to another. Argh :/

I kind of hate the trend that D/P started which dictated that legendaries should be pulled directly from Transformers. I don't want the legendaries to look like !@#$% robots. I mean, it was fine when Mewtwo was the only one... but there's a whole army of robot legendaries now. Has Gamefreak invented AI or something?

Yay, finally made it to Fuchsia City so I now have access to the Pal Park. Transferred my Rayquaza from Sapphire. Its only objective will be beating Red, I guess. And I got my shiny Carvanha, which I caught while looking for Feebas (still got 500 tiles to clear :/)

Beat the Elite Four today Walked into the thing with all Pokémon at level 44, but I guess that the Blastoise which had gained three levels by the time I got to fight Lance gave me the edge that allowed me to rock the Pokémon League without even having to resort to using saving/loading

Make sure you don't have too many Pokémon in your party with the same vulnerability. If you have a flying type, a grass type and a rock type.. well, you're pretty much !@#$% when you're up against Ice Pokémon. Having a Meganium, a Fearow and a Golem this is going to be one tough call for me tomorrow when I'm surfing down Route 27.
With the original Gold & Silver games, I remember beating the Elite Four with Pokémon of about level 43-44 without too much difficulty. Sure, I had to use a shitload of revives and hyper potions and had to reset my GB a couple of times (especially on Lance), but having a balanced team is a MAJOR help when taking on the Pokémon League.
For now: if all fails, I could always transfer my level 100 event Arceus from Platinum and steamroll the Elite Four without too much hassle. I just need a couple of PP-restoring items then.

Bizarre. Today, I caught Lugia with minimal effort . I poisoned him, allowed him to get hurt until his health hit the orange, then caught him on my second ball throw. First a Dusk Ball, from which he escaped during the third wobble and then a Heavy Ball, which got Lugia caught. Now I bought 15x extra Ultra Balls (on top of the 20 I was already carrying) for nothing :<

Any of you guys up to date with the current events? That South African racist dude that was murdered last week. You know, that Terre'Blance guy. He was known to be a white supremacist. He and his AWB group of people dressed in black whenever they attended meetings.
Apparently, even those racists do not directly connect the colors to the various races among mankind. I'm not taking any bets on Pokémon Light and Dark. That just sounds plain horrible.
Pokémon Black and White it'll probably be in English as well. I'm gonna catch my very own Zoroark!

I think Gamestop has hammered Nintendo for a release date, so they could start the pre-orders early, and Nintendo probably said around November this year.Yep, Gamestop just guesses. Nope, those are not even educated guesses.. they have as much information to base themselves on as everybody else.

Finally! Us Dutchies got HG/SS released as well today. Picked up a copy this afternoon. It'll take some time before I'll be beating the game, since I'm trying to play both Platinum and Soul Silver at the same time. Working on the 7th badge in Platinum currently, and ready to rock the 1st gym in SoulSilver.
Anyway I'd encourage you guys to not have more than one legendary bird in your parties; and definitely not three or four of them.. there all flying types, which means you'll leave your team exposed to the same weakness.
