I downloaded something via Torrents and after almost three painful days it is finished, but now I got a problem. Apparently it is a splitted RAR-archive.
The files it included are...

• hlm-gtasa.r00; hlm-gtasa.r01; hlm-gtasa.r02; hlm-gtasa.r03 and so on (so always .r01; .r02 etc.)
• hlm-gtasa.RAR (a rar-file, that - if I open it - is empty)
• hlm-gtasa.sfv
• A help document which is rather useless to me

That's what the help document reads (I could only open it in Editor/I cut out the unimportant part):

Install:

    1. Unrar
    2. Burn or mount
    3. Install
    4. Copy the crack from HOODLUM dir on DVD to the game dir
    5. Watch our intro
    6. Play!

 

So, the problem is to unrar it. I use Ultimate Zip but now I doubt that this is the right program. Since I'm only asking how to unrar it, it shouldn't be illegal... (despite the fact that I dl'd GTA SA - I hope nobody calls Rockstar.  )

Gotcha. You clicked. Well, anyway. No big news, only... a... new avatar. It's from the poster or whatever from Nintendo Power (which doesn't come to Germany anymore v___v) and OSM sent me and asked me if I will make an avatar. Sooooo... here it is. Along with all these stupid squares and ugliness because I like PNG-transparency so much. =)

So, I watched TV today, right? Then I saw this commercial. Uh, some girl-toy? Whatever. Then some jerk there said "PIXELS!!" and caught my attention. I watched it, and... I liked it, pixels, you know. Pixels arouse me. Anyway, that one girl there... reminded me of someone...

Then, today. Pyro got straight to the point. I quote him:

I was banned about a month ago from the new ZFGC and i don't know why. I had just come back from vacation and I post to say hello and next time I go back to check on it it says i'm banned for posting sexual activity! I never even got a warning for doing it so I don't think it's fair. ZFGC was my favorite place to go and relax so I could read posts and look at the fan games. Could I atleast have my account back to look at the posts? Thank-you.

Anybody recently banned for doing perverted stuff? I don't know what to do.

I played today and I was running out of time in City Trial when suddenly in the underground this shiny spot appeared. I would have taken better pics, but yeah, I was low on time, 'tis the best I could get. The place doesn't do anything, it just makes an odd sound.

I think that 600 px in width is not enough. I know that there're screens with lower resolutions and you don't want the layout screwed up, but I think 800 is legitimate...

It's Serene from Riviera - The Promised Land. This game never gets old, though I got stuck on some part some months ago, I started all over again yesterday.

... I'm stuck again. Anyway, Serene is my favourite character (and my strongest so far. XDD ), and as a tribute I made this avatar... It's not too special but I love it somehow.

(And yes, these dots there are actually flashing. )

... the Hello/Goodbye!-board will be flooded with "IM LEEVING ZFGC LOL" where people state that they're going on vacation. That's pretty annoying. Maybe we should have a big topic for these people to post in... it would make things easier. Or at least a different board that keeps away from H/G-board, which sometimes include SERIOUS topics about new members and members that actually leave ZFGC for good.

I mean, I have many Zelda-Games, because I like it, but Tingle RPG will probably one that I don't like...

I noticed that the Zelda-Board isn't visited too well. As a child-board it's not getting that much attention, and actually that's sorta bad, since this forum is zelda-related. Heck, I'd even say make it an own board... But probably that's just me. x___x

Here's the deal: I used the kind of technique that OoT used for the Pause-menu-Engine. It took a screenshot of the current game and loaded it as the backround for the pause-menu (where you can choose your items etc). I did that too, but... I made it that it saves a screenshot to "screenshot.png" and instantly loads this picture. It works in the first time, but then it won't re-create another screenshot, of course and load the exisitng screenshot as a background. So I've been curious if it is possible to overwrite a file that the game created to create a newer file. And if possible how to delete if when the game ends, because it would be stupid to see the screenshot there when you're done playing... Thanks in advance!
