Gotcha. You clicked. Well, anyway. No big news, only... a... new avatar. It's from the poster or whatever from Nintendo Power (which doesn't come to Germany anymore v___v) and OSM sent me and asked me if I will make an avatar. Sooooo... here it is. Along with all these stupid squares and ugliness because I like PNG-transparency so much. =)

Consider the rules equivalant to those used for word censoring.
It' dbe against the rules in your post, so its against the rules in the image :/

Changed back: I just told you no.

An '*' isnt enough, and doesnt hide the sound of the word entirely recurring in the mind on the reader.
There is no difference between the text in an image and the text in a post: They are both text, afterall, both rendered onto the screen as pixels.

But where's the difference between f*ck and f-bomb? They both end up in "!@#$%". I don't want to get in an argument with you (guys), but... why wouldn't I feel offended in a different way when I see f-bomb instead of f*ck (or the real word)? ... ...

That's annoying. Really. Somebody explain me. I'll leave it like that and make another one later on.

Plus, I'll lock it.

Weve had several discussions about the swear filter methologies, and many have given their opinion on the subject.
Using the asterisk shows too much of the actual word. When someone reads f-bomb, they don't read it in their mind as !@#$%, they read f-bomb. Simple.
They know the f is !@#$%, yes. but in sounding the sentance, have no requirement to hear something they dont want to, in their own thoughts.
