Legend of Zelda:Shadows of the Past -working title-
STORY
There has been peace in Hyrule for the past four hundred years. The people of Hyrule are throwing a festival to celebrate the King's birthday. In the distant village of Kakariko, a young man name Link, sets off for the festival with his childhood friend, Saria. When they get to Hyrule Town, they discover that something is not quite right. There is no singing, no dancing, no parades... Link and Saria rush towards Hyrule Castle and their journey's beginning...
GAMEPLAY
Gameplay with feel much like the Seiken Denistu/Mana series. Inventory will be handled like LttP. Players will have a chance to make critical strikes after consecutive hits. The game may or may not contain dual-wielding(>_>)...
Wiil feature 7 dungeons. Three small ones in the first half and four larger more Zelda-ish dungeons for the later half of the game.
MUSIC
Music will contains elements of ALttP, Kingdom Hearts, and Sword of Mana.

Demo lets you walk around several areas. Just hit any shift key to go to the next room. Collisions are not finished i some areas yet.
Seeing as I must leave, I am releasing the source for all of you to enjoy! Maybe someone will continue on with this...

Mixed ALttP with Kingdom Hearts and Seiken Densetsu series is a great idea. I spoke about the music, but... What about the graphics? Same than music? ALttP with Kingdom Hearts and Seiken Densetsu, or other graphics style? Anyway, the walking demo was nice.

using that style looks like it'll win :D
but the top left small plant is above the tree when im not so sure it should be though lol
edit: on the title screen, make the logo change its x and y (to stay in the view) in the draw event, instead of step, then it should being all jolty lol)
edit2: gah, another zelda game insistant on making link walk slowly >_< lol

oops...Damn. I'm kinda glad I posted that here then...I'll take care of that in the game. Right now I am busy editing some more of Link's animations and working on the combat system so before I leave for boot camp, you guys can have a solid demo.
