Well, the thing is that EA isn't developing really; Bioware is.  So long as EA leaves them alone and lets them do what they need to do I think it'll be a really great MMO.  This is Bioware after all...

I find it really weird when girls ask questions referring to us as "boys" and not "men", I dunno why, I probably just can't imagine not knowing what it's like being a guy, I guess.

You say "girls" and not "women", so what's up with that?  D:
You call yourself girls, pop culture refers to you as girls, you are girls. We are generally "guys", or "GENTLEMEN." amongst ourselves, yet you refer to us as "boys", while we refer to you what you call yourselves anyway. WEIRD.

Hrm. I usually say "guy" anyway... At least I think I do.
ahh, good. I just hate it when a woman walks in and goes "hey, boys!". It's just... Emasculating...
You feel that way because your afraid of showing your feminine side.  Most guys are actually, so don't feel alienated or anything.  Most of the members here feel the same way.
No, femininity just isn't in me- it's not part of my personality or who I am. The whole "feminine side" thing is !@#$%.
Lol, just keep on being dishonest with yourself.  You don't fool me for one instant.

1. Why are boys always so insensitive?
To ourselves we're being perfectly normal.  Males (in general) view the world in a different way than females, and vice versa.  Does mean it's okay for a guy to call a woman a heartless !@#$%?  Well, depending on the situation, probably not.  There's just some things that males don't notice.  We don't catch onto body language, speech, and other things nearly as well as women do.

2. Why do some boys think it's alright to adjust themselves in public?
If you felt like you had a cucumber, or in some cases a baseball bat, trying to rip through your pants you would probably try to fix it too.

3. Are boys really that obsessed with their penises?
A lot are I would say.  Some view it has a way to demean other guys and attract women.  Others view it as a dirty thing that should only be used when necessary. Both are egotistical views.  I view my penis as: 1. A way to get rid of urine. 2. A way to express my love for a women.

4. When you like/fancy a girl, do you ever imagine her naked or having sex with her?
Nope, that's putting a condition on loving her.

5. What makes "bad sex" bad?
When the two people haven't opened their hearts to each other ALL of the way.

Well, the important thing that a lot of people need to realize is that men and women are equal, but that doesn't mean we're identical.

Entertainment / Re: Mario and Zelda Big Band Performance
« on: May 29, 2008, 04:55:32 am »
Well, the first is pretty good.  There's some intonation issues in the beginning from just about every section.  The trumpets at :43...ugh...  At around :50 through 1:20 there's tempo issues, just keeps on getting faster and faster.  Keep them in line rhythm section!  The saxes need to lay back a lot, it sounds hard.  It shouldn't.  This style of music should sound the like the easiest thing in the world.  When the drummer doesn't let the other sections take over tempo he/she does a really good job.  It has a really strong finish also.  I'd give them somewhere in between a one and a two.

The second is really tight and cohesive.  The trumpet soli at around 1:30 made me smile.  The overall song seems to have a better balance of the entire band.  Maybe the first one is a poor quality recording?  Anyways, the band in this one really has the fundamentals of jazz down.  Love their do-WAHS.  Definitely a one.  Only one thing bothered me, why are they being conducted?  :x

« on: May 28, 2008, 10:28:37 pm »
Personally I don't consider rap to be music because they're not really singing.  They're talking, and they somehow seem to have the same generic drum loop.  Boring.  Not to mention that music is meant to make people want to dance. I view rappers as people without the diligence to actually learn to sing.  It's sad really.

Jade Empire
Psychonauts
GTA: San Andreas
Doom 3 (It's kind of bland, look into it before purchasing)

I have the same graphics card, it just isn't enough.  Playing inside towns is okay once you the settings down.  Playing in the overworld is hell though, damn near impossible really.  I would suggest using Oldblivion (http://www.oldblivion.com/).  It makes the game manageable for systems that do not have the proper amount of power to run this beast of a game.

You know Kylink, it's still racist even if you candy-coat it.  >_>  If a person is behind in their studies (race doesn't matter) they should get individual help from the teacher or possibly be put in a SPED program.

Sucking up fails Fanu!

Anyway, there will be no downtime, except in the case of a few hours which is when we'd be launching the features or something like that. Sometimes that requires downtime. I will also have a period of time every few weeks when I do a database backup. I'll probably do that on the slowest days at the slowest hour (whatever the average is). That and the time slot in which we switch to SMF 2.0.
Eh, fair enough.  I still want to thank you, even though I've been critical of you many times I hope there's no hard feelings.  Anyways..., time to go back to WoW I think....

Fusion and the other 2d Metroid games in general are awesome.  I don't really like the 3d ones, but I love the 2d ones.  The first time I played Fusion I was spending the night at a friends house and the friend let me play it, he got kind of annoyed since I paid more attention to it than him.  ^_^;

Guys, he obviously wasn't being serious-- if you're going to mock him, at least mock him over the idiodic things he's done, instead of taking a comment he made in jest too seriously.
It doesn't matter whether or not he was "jesting."  Lawyers should not talk like that.
Why not? Lawyers are people too.  Its not like he was in court or anything when he said it.
Lawyers shouldn't talk like that because they *should* be expected to have a higher quality of attitude/personality.  They should hold themselves to a higher quality really; no one should have to tell them how act.  But in a world where everyone is so hypocritical, it is unlikely that even the people who should be the most ethical are actually ethical.  Especially since we're talking about Jack Thompson.  That comment was pretty low for even him though.

Oh wow, the irony.  I didn't this topic existed until about a minute ago, the irony is that I'm watching "Liar Liar" right now.  XD

Anyways, like just about everything else, lying all depends circumstances.  A lie can save a life just as much as it can end one.  It's all about the circumstances of lie that make it good, bad, or both.
