I was looking around on another forums and found this:
The tileset aslo has a few examples. Don't credit me for it. I felt like showing MaJoRa it, but it's usable for anyone.

The tileset itself uses the limitations of the SNES LTTP palette.

I would favor deviating from the palette in this case, or find a better balance. It's looks way too bright and red :)

It was originally made for a heck so it had to stay withing parameters of the palette, and I don't feel like recoloring it since it would take a while. I'd probaly go with a better balance if I was going to mess wit it. It's still ok though.

I don't know where you got the "it was originally made for a heck" information, but this work is aab (http://zfgc.com/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=153)'s :

i would think using photoshop could make changing up the colors pretty easy, well maybe faster.
