I would really like to know if there is a way to draw a sprite, or text above a foreground.
The textbox engine I am using, overlaps the foreground when it comes up, so this would prove that its possible.
Anyone know?
Thanks

You can't change drawing depth from within the Draw event. It all depends on the object's depth. GM internally sorts each object from highest depth to lowest and performs their Draw events in that order.
I don't know if that helps or not...

I would be easier to make you foreground a backgroound with all the other sprites behind it, and put the needed sprites in front of the BG. Hope I helped
Also, I guessing if you put a control object so it draws first, then you could change the order of the other draw events.
