A little less of the blatant illegal suggestions k? As for software, if your computer has a DVD burner it should have come with its own software.

Most DVD burning packages are fancy gimmicks.

If you've got software to burn data to a DVD, you can burn a video to the DVD. There are free tools available to convert and demux the movie, then you paste the files into a "VIDEO_TS" folder and a DVD player will recognise it.

I'll have a look for the converting tools now.
