Song from Blaster Master, NES, World 1

sort of an ocremix attempt, i guess
not nearly as good as their good ones, but at least it was fun making it
originally wanted from intro, but couldnt find the melody

not bad, but it doesnt really flow well, at all :/
the overall sound is missing frequencies that make this song whole
lots of buggy notation etc., high volume differences, such as sfx being louder than the overall song :P
other than that, not bad choice for instruments, and beat is ok

Lawl, cartoon trolls.

If you dont like cartoons now, the only reason you think old cartoon are better is nostalgia.

Not to say old cartoon are bad.

You know old people do the same thing. Bish about how everything new is stupid and dumb compared to how it was "back in the day". Then they ask me why their 30 year old VCR wont play DVDs and I slap them in the Fuggin face.

Therefore, Swoftu is an old geezer.

its because, like in every other musical genre, movies, chairs, weather climate ...
there will always be alot of !@#$% between the good
like most trance is garbage, and most rock is garbage, you dont listen to the garbage
if youre into something youll grab whatever you can get, and as time goes and youve heard it all, only the best please you
ive seen pretty much all anime there is, and its mostly garbage, but some series are a good reason to wake up each morning :)
that said, 2008 was a bad year for anime though

Removed my last message, as i fixed some stuff that should never have been in there
The most important fix was the windowed mode not working for some people :)
So, the last "engine work in progress" release ill do.. now that im satisfied with what i have already, its time to put it to some good ass use...
As for that, im interested in working with others who wants to make a big ass world, and has the time to do so

DL: http://dm.fwsnet.net/DM500.rar
Select LTTP mod before you start, i cant guarantee the GB mod (if its in there) works anymore :)

Note that there are only 2 positions im looking for
- a map/story/world designer (ill deal with scripting and the other deep stuff)
- spriter
Preferrably both in one
PM me with a long winded excuse of why i should bother believing anything you say followed by your big idea :)

yes i made a daemon, and both are not game maker.. server dedicated, and p2p? you realize tcp/ip IS p2p
it was a joke btw, seeing as how hawthorne knows me all too well, he will shrug at my laughable joke attempt
the actual test could surprise though, but as he said he hasnt touched it since the middle ages

hawtty horne you lazy ass ass
you can do better than a "chat alpha test with less features"
took me  ~5 days to convert my engine to multiplayer with chatting
and i wasnt making a multiplayer game to begin with

Coding / Re: [C++] Problem involving division by zero
« on: November 09, 2008, 10:29:31 pm »
in most cases where you may get division by zero the specific case requires a completely different solution or approach etc.
so, it doesn't really matter how "you want to do it", you should be thinking about what the result should be

i guess that's kind of secret anyways :P there's always net* api :)

I think most serious software writers support 32bit formats completely
Such as Game Maker?
Then again, alpha bitmaps also work well, but its a hazzle to deal with :(
If you had PNG but no 32bit support you could make the bitmap twice the width
where the original image to the left, and the alpha to the right :)
less files, and not much extra filesize

thanks

http://fwsnet.net/mp3/bankexample_2.mp3
this is the reason i haven't been mass producing any music lately :)
i've been making a bank (essentially instruments using a specific synth) for some guy
and it's proof that trance can sound ... really good :) with the right sound
N-joy
