This has been happening since GM7 came out, it, just makes me mad ticked off.

The fact that I tryed to submit my GM6.1 (Yes, I did buy it.) serial code, it showed me a error, so I kept trying, same thing came up. >_<  and I don't wanna waste another 20$ just to get it, i'd rather spend it on something other then repaying "YoyoWe don't accept some GM6.1 serials" for a GM7 serial, it, it just ticks you off.  I used that error send message thing, I told them it was a valid GM6.1 code, and they didn't reply to me or anything.  (I sent a-l-o-t of them)

I just have nothing else to say about YoyoWe don't accept some GM6.1 serials, just the fact that they don't accept some GM6.1 codes, WHY, MAN, WHY!!!!  :'(  I was looking forward to getting GM7, too.  It looks alittle better, and extended then GM6.1.   YoYoGames must not like me for some odd reason.

I wish it worked. :(

Well even when the GM5 to GM6 transition happened, you had to give them the GM5 code to get a new one.  I know you know this, but yeah, I have gone through a similar ordeal.  I hate how they make you keep track of something and how they make the process kind of complicated.  Bleh, I would have stuck with GM6, but incompatibility with Vista made that impossible on my new computer, lol.  From what I have heard from other people, getting a GM7 registration is also difficult in some cases.  Meh, the hassle has its benefits in that it makes real programming languages more appealing.

I had like a two week debate with Yo Yo games as to whether or not I paid for GM or not. I bought the key for the winner of one of the contests we had a few months back... and they wouldn't accept the fact I BOUGHT the game. I had to forward all of my paypal emails to them.

For a "company" who pretends to be a company, they're pretty bad at it. I think ZFGC could have better organization in terms of business sales than they do.

That's why I don't even bother and I just hax GM7 and make it pro on my own.  Problem solved, I just don't sell games with it.

ya , i think i said this to ya 2 before, i bought gm5 code a very long time ago , lost it got it to 6.1 then to 7 all was fine untill i reformated my pc. Then Boom i cant get rereg so i got resort to a crack for something i actually legaly bought which i never do lol.

God I had the same thing happen, I go through a lot of reformattings and whatnot. I tend not to use gamemaker but I am for this ZFGC contest just because my own engine isn't quite ready yet. I did get a gm7 key like a year ago it worked, but I didn't write down the re-install blah blah codes so I had to email them recently. I didn't get a reply (of course) so I randomly tried activating and that worked, but once again I didn't write down the codes. I tried it again on my second computer since I regularily use two, and it didn't work and I somehow managed to let them know and they wrote back (!) saying they added installs to my account.

Moral of the story: save EVERYTHING Yoyogames sends you

Anyway this is probably the last time I use Gamemaker anyway, I like my own engine :3

I hate YoYo Games because in March they said a Mac Beta of Game Maker would be out by April, and now they pretty much say that it's delayed indefinitely. Ah well, I don't even use Game Maker. :P
