I've been using Paint Shop Pro 5 for my tiling, I suggest you try it, once you get the keyboard short figured out it's great.

Heh. Never used that befre. I may look into it. Thanks.

UPDATE:

Added the dying foresttttt. I think it came out okay.. maybe a bit busy. I may have to tone down some of the details. What do you guys think?
EDIT: Finished it off by adding the little trees around the edges and whatnot.
EDIT: I pieced it together so you don't have to imagine.

It looks great but it looks kinda weird that you used frames from rocks that break.

MadMonkey: I'm not really sure yet. I don't.. necessarily.. have... a plan. [cough] Just kind of going with whatever comes to mind. So I guess we'll see? I do know that I don't want to connect the forest directly to the town.. so.. there will have to be something else there. Nothing huge.. I don't think.

.TaKaM: I did de-tile the one.. You probably noticed the mistakes, hm? XD But, once it's all done with, I was going to look for a program to do it for me. It's a pain in the ass. Have a program in mind?

Thanks again for all the comments.

I think WWFan's tilesplit program also detiles.

Anyway, looking really nice, way to make GB style look hot.

It's exceptionally detailed. It's interesting you like GB Style, because you could probably do a lot more if you took on ALTTP or TMC styles. Or you could just, y'know, design you're own custom style. You seem capable.

That'd be great, thanks.

Thanksss. =D I think ALttP is a bit overused for my liking, and I love MC.. but. It's too detailed for me. Takes me too long to make one thing, you know? XD I'm kind of impatient. I'd love to do custom.. but.. again.. the impatient thing. So.. I'll stick with GB right now.

I wanted to do a project with this map, but it doesn't seem like too many people are interested. So, I may just make this and be done with it. If that happens, I think I will try a few custom tiles.

Thanks again.

EDIT:

Okay so.. I added another section to town. This one has fallen victim to some water damage.. [cough] I figured I'd make it so one of the walls in the main city broke and in from the other side poured a rough current. Yeah well.. it drains into this town and kills all of it's inhabitants. I've also decided that I want the city to be on lock down normally. So.. if you can't leave the city, you can't get to the decaying forest. I figured I'd make an entrance to it [or at least a cave leading to it] in the sunken section of town. Yeah.. Thoughts?

Thanks .TaKaM. That'll come in handy.

CD: I'm not sure if I'm using it yet or not.. so I'll have to get back to you. Thanks.
DLB: What BBoy said. =P Thanks.
Laigonaz: I wouldn't say that much.. XD Thank you, though.
