The R4 Revolution for DS. My [CENSORED] bought one, and I'm just wondering...

1. Is it legal? I'm guessing that it's legal, just as long as you don't use it for illegal purposes (i.e. pirated games/movies).
2. If it is legal like I said, would it be a legal action to put homebrew games on it?
3. If so, where could we find these homebrew games?

If the R4 is totally illegal and is not to be discussed on these forums, then please delete this topic.

Well, I was thinking. Maybe we should get all the LIVE Halo 3 players here at ZFGC to all play in one big party for a [predictably short] night of Halo 3 funfestage. It would exceed in awesomnity.

If you guys think, "aight" then I guess you could just sign with your Gamertag here.
I was thinking either this Friday, or next week Friday or something. Idea me.

I don't think that this will get much, but...
Here's how to to get yours:
1. Go to Bungie.net and sign up, associate the profile with your XBL Gamertag.
2. Play Halo 3 and take some screenshots in the theater. They should upload automatically to the "Hi-Res Screenshots" section of your Halo 3 Bnet profile, otherwise you can just stick it in your File Share.
3. Save it, upload it, and post it here.

Just beat Halo 3's campaign on normal. Damn good game.

But anyway, if I am getting this straight, they think that Master Chief died, right? And all he got in recognition was that "117" scratched into the metal. When reall, the Master Chief is still on the ship with Cortana, and has put himself in the cryo-freezing-thing until they get found.
And the Arbiter got all the recognition from the humans? How did the Arbiter get back to Earth and not MC, anyway? BETRAYAL?

I need answers. This is making me sad.

Many of you know that Halo 3 comes out tonight (well, tomorrow, but this night) and alot of you might be going at midnight to grab a copy.

It's a massive hand-made diorama.... Like, massive.... And you can control the camera as it goes throughout the whole thing. It's like a big battle based on Halo 3. I think that Bungie said that it doesn't spoil any part of the Halo 3 story, but I'm going to say possible spoiler warning anyway. You will enjoy.

My parents are always on about how if I play violent video games where I kill people (example), then I have more of a chance to murder people in real life. This is why they do not like violent games, especially the most realistically gory ones, and don't want me playing them.

Yeah, if someone quotes someone else, and the quote has a swear in it, and the person who posted the quote has a swear filter on, it'll stay filtered even if your filter is off.

So, I come home from a week of holidays in BC, and my Xbox 360 is broken!

I was playing Bioshock for about 15 minutes, and then it froze really weird-like. i thought it was Bioshock. So I turned it off, and then on again, and about 3 seconds into the intro it freezes again. So I's all like ,"WTFAF?!?!"
Next time I reset, it freezes right a away. So I waited a few minutes, and tried again. Guess what? Three red lights.

So I'm all like, "okay, they extended the warranty for !@#$% like this... I'll just send it in for repairs." So I ordered a box, but some people told me that the box takes 3-4 days, and the repairs can take up to 2 months (2-3 weeks at leased)!!! That means that I'm going to miss Halo 3, dammit! You don't know how pissed I am right now.....

And I don't even think that those retards down in Texas are even going to repair it. The page that I read says that if they can't confirm the Ring of Death, then they'll just send it back unrepaired. And mine plays perfectly fine until like 5 minutes in, and then it freezes, and then after a few times of freezing you get the red lights. I don't think that they have time for that.

!@#$%. If you guys spoil Halo 3 in any way whilst my 360 is away for September, I'M CALLING THE FBI. Please offer some moral support.
I mean, I don't even care about the 360 at all, I just want to play Halo 3. I even pre-ordered it!

I found another page of trademarks registered by Zenimax. One of the trademarks, registered AFTER Shivering Isles (the Oblivion expansion), is still active, and is for a video or computer game called SKYRIM. Could this be an indication of a second expansion for Oblivion, or a future Elder Scrolls game? I feel like a trademark detective!

Then he edited, pointing out how Bethesda Softworks said that Shivering Isles would be the last expansion, and:

They registered Skyrim as a trademark, indicating that Skyrim will be the title of a future game. They registered it about 2 or 3 months after Shivering Isles.

Again, he edited:

Go to www.uspto.gov, then trademarks, then search trademarks, then new user (basic) search, then search field is Owner/ name or address, then Zenimax. Then you'll see Skyrim as a choice.

Based on looking at the evidence further, it now seems likely that SKYRIM is not an expansion, but TES V. The time it was registered, as well as the fact that merchandise and game guides were registered with it, indicate that Skyrim is TES V.

I will look into this further. But for now, discuss.

But then I saw a picture... Holy !@#$%, it was blue!!!

So guys, I just wanted to warn you about this "virus" or whatever it is going around on Xbox Live.
So far, the only way to catch it is by accepting a friend request from someone named J NUTRON. So if he adds you, DECLINE.

It will give you the Ring of Death, which is very bad. M$ is looking for a way to cure it.

Entertainment / Now I have 3 DS's

Yeah, so. I had a DS Shitty, and then I bought a DS Lite.

Then I let some kid borrow my DS Shitty and he had it for about 7 months and during that time he managed to brake the hinges and the touch screen, and it's very scratched and goudged. So, to pay me pack he gave me 20 bucks and his old DS, which doesn't seem to work.

So, what should I do with my two DS Shittys?
And how do I repair the one that doesn't work? It's perfectly fine, but when I press the power button... The green light comes on for a split second, and you hear the speakers do their little poppy sound, and then it just shuts off. The kid dropped it in the toilet, so I'm guessing that something got short-circuited or something.
