Yeah, that's what I have to work with too... though I've added a few FSA colors.

Amazing! Not a huge fan of the gerudo, but the Gorons look really nice.

Any suggestions for the Zoras or Kokiri? Since you don't like the Gerudo, how about suggestions for them?

I tried every plausible skin tone... The Quartz and Limestone didn't really pan out, which is why I'm looking for the full color palette. Any suggestions for the Zoras or Kokiri?

Well, I didn't realize that "character creation" was a link till I quoted it, seems the theme I'm using doesn't underline them unless I run my mouse over them.
They look really nice, although I can't think of any suggestions at the moment, sorry.

Huh... I even went as far as marking the links with animations...

I woke up this morning feeling the need to put down some pixels, so I decided to hammer out the Kokiri a little.

I gave both genders ten hair styles and five hair colors. Five of these styles have a hat (boys) or head band (girls) over them, while the other five are approximately the same style, without anything on the head. I've come up with three types of hats for the boys (the hats seen on all of the hair sprites are placeholders), but I haven't decided if I'll choose just one or make them all selectable. If I do integrate all three hats into it, what should the girls have?

I need suggestions for faces. For the Gerudos it was easy (angry. angry with gold eyes. angry with mask. cute. cute with mask), but I'm not at all certain what kind of faces I should give the Kokiri. Ideas for additional hair styles would also be appreciated. For the tunics, I'm just going to do several different styles, available in a few different shades of green. I might try out the Girl Scout-esque outfit Fado wore in the OoT beta, seen below.

Speaking of Fado, you can (kind of) make both Fado from OoT and Fado, the Sage of Wind from TWW, which I've done in the examples at the bottom.

So, does anyone have suggestions on any front? Don't bother telling me the hat looks weird on the green hair, I'm already working on it.

I'm considering doing some pointy hair for the male Kokiri, but I'm honestly terrible at making hair. Do you have any suggestions for headgear for the females, or any suggestions at all for the Zoras?

Also, the only way to keep a spriter from stealing something is to keep them from seeing it.

Gerudo genetics make it incredibly unlikely for males to be born, though, so I don't really see the point in a male Gerudo sprite.

Well, the Kokiri clearly aren't anywhere near finished, the only Zora animation I have is walking down, and I need to fine-tune the Goron down-walking animation... How do you plan on using them? What do you plan to code it in? Most importantly... any ideas for the Zoras?

I think what he means is you raise one of them as a pet.
I'd really like to use this to make some npc's for a zelda game I plan on making in blitzmax.

Feel free to! They're all just minor edits of hair already existing in TMC. The one with the most work done on it is the small ponytail, and that's just a combination of the hair of Link and a little girl. Well, the version with the headband has bangs from scratch, but that's only a minute or two of editing. I haven't made the side-facing ones yet (that requires a different mindset... it's hard to explain), but you can find most of the hair I used on this sprite sheet, and the rest on this one.

Quite a good replication, the skin is darker than the original, which is good in a way  :P

If you have any specific requests be sure to ask them here.

I used the skin and hair colors of my Gerudo sprites. The Gerudo live in the desert, so I would imagine fair skin is rare.

...I know. That's the entire point of this topic... for people to tell me what the sprites need. So far, I haven't gotten a single suggestion. :'(

You guys must have at least a few ideas that can be useful! Like "make different styles of hats for the Kokiri!" or "make the color of the Goron hat change with the hair!". Those are both things I've already done, but you get the idea.
