Go download it in the Completed games section!
GO!
NOW!

And leave feedback here!
I wanna know what everyone thinks about it.

It has Minish Cap graphics and music, it's a basic PacMan simulator, but with a fresh coat of Zelda, complete with a Title menu.  :D

Although it IS in the Completed Games section, I will be making updates to it, ill be making tweaks and adding additional levels.

Tell me what you think!  8)

EDIT:I updated a few things, I added a nice black outline to a few things that otherwise may have been difficult to see.
Coming soon:Later today I'm planning on uploading v1.2 which will have a fresh new level making it a grand totale of 5, and I'm planning on making some tweaks to level 4 which looks kind of funky.

Th game was quite nice actually. I didn't get past level two, as I found it quite hard(Not played much pac man =P )

Anyway, I found two faults, or rather things that seemed a bit weird, in the two first levels I played. Firstly, in the first level, the dots you are supposed to pick up are quite hard to see, specially if there one or two at the end of the level left.
Link had the habit of getting stuck in corners when I tried to go down, up etc. Something that led to my death twice in just the first level.
Also, in the second level, It was hard to see myself, so In the second it took me to find out that I was NOT a part of the green carpet, I had died.

Aside from these minor problems, you have put in some nice details, and it actually felt like a Zelda game, with the townspeople standing int outskirts etc.

Anyway, good game, and I will look forward to the next game you make :)

Awesome!
Thanks!

I appreciate your constructive criticism.
Although..
Im not quite sure what you mean by link blending in with his surroundings, I played the game countless times and I never had a problem seeing the dots, or link..

Ill try to work on those things.
Perhaps ill give the dots a black outline?
As for link getting stuck on things, I can try to fix it but I cant guarantee anything, for now I can suggest just staying all the way to the walls before you turn, that usually works.

Hang tight cause sometime soon ill be throwing in another level along with some updates based on your suggestions.

Thanks again.

Good game! Played though all of the levels... I think. It doesn't end, it seemed to loop back to the first level after the graveyard, which felt extremely unrewarding. Even a nice congratulations screen would've felt a thousand times better than looping back to level 1.

The attention to detail was nice, as wildex999 said above, as were the stage's layouts.

I did notice the annoying bug, also mentioned by wildex999 above, with Link stopping and getting stuck on the walls. However, for me, it made the game so much easier, as I could stop Link anytime I wanted (instead of waiting for him to snap to the grid) and wait for the statues to go down another path.

The levels, as I stated earlier, were pretty detailed, but they all felt the same. Yes, yes, I know. Pac-Man, but it still felt like I was doing the same thing over and over, albeit on a different field, and to a different beat. The game play (again, yes I know, "PAC-MAN") and difficulty never really changed. Maybe change up the game plan a bit. Add some other traps or something, add other bonuses to get, and maybe add a real life system?

I don't know if there were lives, I died three times on one stage and the only consequence I found was having to make my way from the starting position back to the dots I didn't finish collecting. So perhaps a life system, or something that punishes the player for running into the ghost, like restarting the stage (completely, dots and all), and or reducing the score. Which brings me to the next point.

The score is hidden away in the Window Caption bar, and after a while, it disappears off to the right where you can't even see it. I didn't know what my score was for half the game, and after a while, didn't care. I said I'd see it at the end (which wasn't the case either!). :( Add an on-screen score, so peeps will want to go for those golden keys. :P

I didn't mean to rant, but I think it's a good game that can be a great game. So in short, what I'd suggest is:

-  Congratulations screen, so the player will feel reward when they complete the game. Also, a highscores table.

- Punish the player, if they do something wrong let them know. Deduct a life, or their points; Restart the room and make them collect those dots again! >:O

- Vary the stages a bit. Stray away from Pac-Man (a little bit) and add new challenges and other things to keep the player alert, and the game fresh. Also, more bonuses, or maybe even anti-bonuses!

- Show the score on screen! Also, if you do lives, show those too. Let the player know how they're doing.

Thanks!
:)

Umm.
There are lives!
and you gain an extra life for reaching 4000 points, 10,000 points, 20,000 points, etc.
It shows it up in the top bar.

I was planning on showing the lives in a display on screen, but im still working on it.

And yeah, the levels loop, Im planning on having a grand totale of maybe 10 or so levels, but for now ive only created 5 so it loops so that you can keep playing until you run out of lives (To see how high you can raise your score I suppose?).

But yeah, Im still tweaking it.
Changing it up a bit.
I might try some of your ideas that I liked.

Everyone's ideas and suggestions are really pushing me to make this game alot better than I had thought it would be.

So Thanks!

Ah! Sorry about that, I didn't notice. Didn't mean to sound harsh or anything. I think the game is coming along very well, and has a lot of potential to become one of the best PAC-Man clones out there.

I didnt take it harshly at all.
Thanks for your ideas!
 8)

I added an item that bounces around the level, sort of a poison mushroom, and if you get it, it resets your score to zero, and im also trying to make it reduce your speed for a while, which would suck with those ghosts chasing you.

Thanks again.
