Oooh, thats a toughie. They are both very good, and Corniune would have probably killed against something else. But imfletcher's is very detailed and impressive, I have to go with his.

Very hard, in my opinion, both are very good... Congratulations to both...
Anyways, now thinking on it, I don't really remember the laughing man (:P), in the sprite he looks very serious to be a laughing man... :D
On the other hand, I think Corniune should have done (attention: I'm very far from knowing a thing about spriting) better lighting effects with his lamp in front of him, his skin should be a bit more flashy on the front.
I think I will vote on IMflectcher...

Yes, I think that is the one fault of Corniune, the shading. Oh and the laughing man is the carpenter boss.

Yay, I got 16 % of the votes. ^_^;
Thanks, all three of you. :P

When I made Jabun, I went for a reference pic, but never throughout the making thought about the fact that he had a lantern hanging in front of his face. Therefore, I made the shading come from above and added the lantern in the end, when it was all... too late. And I was too unmotivated. Ya. :(
