just having some fun testing these guys >:)
With their powers combined, they are Captain Pl----Chu Chu.  I assume the frame rate is fine, since there aren't any other things going on besides these at the moment.  Once more layers are added, having that many Chu Chus active at once probably wouldn't be such a great idea.

That right there is 7000 chu chus, solid framerate :P I'd say the engine is fairly scalable haha

Haaaaaax!!!

You doing monsters etc. before tiling? =P Would assume static graphics would be done before animations and moving objects xD
Does the engine have collision detection yet? =)

Animations were done a long time ago and they actually work the same way as static images :)

The engine does *not* have collision detection yet and that's one of the core things that need to be implemented.

Posted some code I have recently used for collision detection to your GIT issue, don't know if it will be of any help tho xD I might be able to take a look at the engine and maybe help out some after the end of this month, have like 3 exams coming up in the next three weeks =P
