Heavily inspired by MC, maybe, but nothing was taken directly from the game and used as-is.

It feels a lot less creative when it's basically an accurate on-model use of an existing style they didn't come up with. Like the style in Borderlands for example- takes a lot of the charm away when you realize they basically ripped it 1:1 from something else.

Taking tiles, doubling their size and cleaning them up without changing the style. With artists as talented as they have, it really pains me that they didn't just use a custom style.
