Entertainment / GFWL connection problems
« on: April 19, 2010, 06:10:44 am »
Every time I try to connect it tells me "The profile could not be signed in to live. There may be a network problem or the windows live ID service may not be available" and the network settings display tell me internet ip not signed in and upnp not signed in. I've experienced this problem with Gears of War & Red Faction Guerrilla but not with my other live games, also I am using wireless and wonder if it is affecting the few games preventing them from connecting to gfwl, I've even looked up problems other people have had concerning this on the live forums and tried their solutions but to no avail.

(I am not so sure if this should go into tech forum because this seems game related)

Entertainment / Can't remember the name of a certain old animated tv show.
« on: September 24, 2009, 09:32:41 am »
Well there was this show which I think was on ether abc or bbc and I am trying to remember what it was called, all I can remember in the show was: In the intro there was this giant turtle swimming through space which looked like it had a flat world on top of its shell and some Arabic kind of music playing, also there was a magic guitar and a musician who took up playing it and recruited a saxophone playing gnome and some stone man playing some other sort of instrument, the grim reaper was also in this and had a niece who was in some sort of orphan house, I also remember being told that this series was originally based on a novel. If you do know what show I am talking about then I would appreciate it if you can tell me the name of it.
