I would like to give you some credit for this, but since it isn't yours, I can't. Sorry. Tell whoever DID make it that it looks like a good game.

Regarding z3, progress is going well, I think I can get everything I want done in time for mid-May. Still a ton of spriting and tiling to do on one of the areas, which I'm spending all my fan gaming time on - much to the dismay of my ZFGCCP colleagues, I'm sure, but I feel I need to prioritise this right now. There will be a big splurge of new screens, art, and info (not all relating to the demo) in my z3 booth, and that's what I'm concentrating on right now. ;D
Oh NOES!!! How could you start a community project and devote all your time to this one? There's hardly any progress without you helping  :(

nah, just kiddin! continue the good work KM. ;D

Feedback / Re: Rupees?

Are they pointless and going to create an uproar like karma?
No they have a point behind it - But you won't see it until the site is finished.
Cool. I hope it's easier to get rupees here then it is on Zelda 1. I could never fill my wallet in that one, always needing to buy .
I'm sure it will be, considering all you have to do is post, or upload media or whatever. I think its a pretty sweet idea, it will encourage members to add to the site library and make it grow, and its a fun little "side quest" if you follow :P

I don't see how it could cause any sort of uproar like karma either. Karma/the old rupee system was in the hands of the members to reward others or smite them for their comments and feedback. The members now have no control over other users rupee count. That is up to you to do by being active and posting, or adding to the site or what have you. I don't even know the full extent of this new system or what is in store but I'm looking forward to it.

'OMG I HAV MOAR RUPEE DAN U' Thats how. Also people with less rupees may feel inferior to other people which splits communitys apart.
You can't be serious?  Sure we have some immature members but if their that immature, we probably don't want them here anyways.

I think the system will help make the members of the community want to help with the site and contribute to the forums, it sounds like a great idea to me.
If there are people on this site that are immature enough to go around harassing people about small things such as their rupee count, then in my opinion they should be banned. i think it's all well and good making a joke, as long as they don't keep on about it and that they make sure the other people know it's a joke. the majority of members (okay all of them) in this community don't want harassment. so we don't harass. just to get a point through...
'OMG I HAV LITLER RUPEE DAN U'

Did i sound like a schoolteacher talking about harassment? i hope not!  :P

sessions, because you can limit the amount of people on a server to say, 500 or 1000 per world (not screen). because imagine trying to play in an area where you cant even see your own person!

You have a game, a free (or paid game) that you can play within your browser with out downloading a huge installer or a huge client to play the game.

If you read through you get problems loading up runescape when you first play it, it tells you to create a folder in the c drive and give it a name, and in the short time i played runescape i had about 40 megabytes downloaded into that file!!! >:(

hy runescape is not a bad game at all, and I love the qeust they rock.
if you are makign an game runescape can have alot of inspuration you know.
I would absolutely love to make a crappier remake of the crappiest MMORPG ever. you could also be the quest designer, making two quests, one being walking a few spaces, and the other talking to someone and saying hello. but before we start, have you ever heard of runandhideseekscape? play that, but don't let it get to you and take over your life, as I am afraid it already has.

I still don't reckon there's a lot of improvement... I did find a transition engine on the GM forums, with over a hundred more transitions for screens, (including the zelda ones) but it won't run, because of some stupid unexpected error.

Discussion / Re: Problem executing games [GM 6.1]
« on: January 01, 2007, 12:44:35 pm »
I know one of my friend's graphics cards won't let him run any games made with gamemaker, either 5.0, 6.0, or 6.1. It says it can't render the layers and drawing canvases (something like that) and I have no idea wtf is wrong with it, and yet it will run high quality 3d games. weird. I dunno if that's your problem or not, sometimes his freezes up too.

Yeah, I've had an account on neopets for about 5 years now... or more, but have hardly used it the last 3 years... mabye once a month or two.

The topic has been updated.

runescape is crap. if you play it you are a moron. the quests are stupid, and the game has some of the worst 3d graphics i have seen. some of the questions are so simple, i had a quick look at the cheat database thing and made me ask a question:

Who is this game aimed at?
A.Bycicles
B.Streetlights
C.Morons

come on people. That's a typical quest question.

Discussion / Re: Legend of Zelda: Age of Darkness STORY PLOT
« on: December 30, 2006, 02:15:10 pm »
I don't know what you usually do but I wouldn't have put quite that much of the story in the post. I find that it can spoil the gameplay. Apart from that, hope it goes well.

1999
Heh... :) time for me to rethink my story for my game and come up with something a little better... and not similar to this one! ;)
Progress is going well by the looks of it. Your shadow problems are nothing compared to mine!

I mean, come on... it's not hard to figure out it's possible, and not only that, a good chance it's right.  ;)
