Just gonna stand back here because I thought the game was the best Mario RPG since SNES... *whistles
I was gonna say kefka from ff6 but instead I bring up the Last boss in the first sin & punishment lol, try defending earth and fighting a mega boss at the same time lol. I never beat it too.Pseudo Earth wasn't too bad, try Sin and Punishment 2, there are some TOUGH bosses there... *shudders at the thought of Deko*
Cookie cutter FPS is cookie-cut. CoD is just like Halo in my eyes. You're getting the same gameplay using the same weapons with a few new gimmicky "perks"... And before you CoD fans say "But I'm gonna get hours and hours of fun out of multiplayer!" Unless it's a multiplayer exclusive game, I don't base my judgement on the multiplayer. It's a tacked-on feature to make the player think they're getting their money's worth in "replayability" That would be like me buying a SRPG because I like the fact that you can name your characters... War simulators haven't been fun since... people started making them. They force feed you some bullshitty "What if!" storyline, then match you up with quirky sidekick after quirky sidekick, only to have them keeled off one after the other like you're playing some kind of future-psychiatrist-patient simulator. And what's worse in CoD is the fact that you HAVE to replay the damn levels over and over to get anywhere in multiplayer which is why 90% of the people who bought it, bought it to begin with!QTF although many franchises fit that description besides Halo and CoD... but of course, money talks... but oh well...
In short, CoD is a cash cow, and will always be a cash cow, just like Halo is. You're gonna keep seeing the same game over and over rebranded with stupid new features that alter gameplay nigh but how quickly you reload your gun. People eat crap like that up though, so yeah.
QFT although I've never beaten it...Zelda II is a beautiful game. I don't understand the hate for it :/Zelda does kind of have some RPG elements already. You upgrade your stats (number of hearts, capacity of magic meter, item capacities), your weapons and items, and Zelda 2 actually had a level up system.
I don't want to talk about Zelda 2...I hated it...
My only gripe would be that I wish it had a weapon and armor system as well.
But that is also a good rpg system to base a Zelda game on.
I did enjoy the bike mode; reminded me of BS Excite Bike
All seven people who haven't played it will finally get their chance!
My question is: What will the companion game be? Pokemon Gray? Or if they do Light and Dark (which was already done with Demikids on GBA) would it be Twilight? (oh dear lord WILD EDWARD APPEARS!)WILD JACOB APPEARS!!!!
Thought you'd like that. I'm moving soon, and there's a GameStop right by where I'm moving to. So I'll be getting this within the next couple of weeks!
Now to fix my DS...
Well, one thing to remember with CS--- it has a very important moral message-
"If you take the jetpack, unrelated stuff shall disappear from the world, and you're an evil son of a !@#$% who doesn't deserve a real ending" D:
Workin on it :p Just have a lot to go before it's done. I've been working on a lot of rewrites, and I still have a lot to go. Collisions have never been 100% perfect, so I'm really trying to get it done.
Top-right: YOURS IS THE DRILL THAT WILL PIERCE THE HEAVENS!!!This game needs to be done now, seriously loving the concept art too and I'm looking forward to playing it too
Hmm, could be nice with a lot of potential. But I won't get my hopes up. Have to try it first before making a judgement.
haha, love this video and love the AoL style game over
^^
I know what I want to eat for Easter
Probably the funniest thing I've seen in a long time...
