If you like action RPGs with an awesome trenchcoat-garbed main character with an
awesome sword, you should then get Lunar Knights.
Its related to the Boktai series, but you don't have to play Boktai 1 and 2 to play it.

Recruitment / I need two positions: Spriter and Background artist
« on: April 02, 2007, 10:57:58 pm »
Here's the deal: I suck at spriting, so I need two people for a new Platformer game.
I will need someone to do:
          Spriting
               Main Character
               Enemies
               Boss
           Background Art
               Trees
                Hills
               Castle Exterior and Interior

I will be doing the programing parts, I'll even show you how your work is being
incorporated into the game.

What you need to be able to do:
Sprite in a cartoony, bright, platformer style
Timeliness, an important step in life

Please post as I really need some help ( The big rush is the Enemies and Backgrounds)

Spriter: *NEED*
Backgrounds: *NEED*

Nice!! Another Earthbound reference, what does the "Carpainter Rod"
do? Make things Blue?

I LOVE the Boktai Series!!!

I just got Lunar Knights and it's turning out better than Boktai 2!
The boss battles are a tad more challenging and Terrenials (elementals in LN) are a must for
the battles.

I just wonder, what was Lucianbefore the game started?

This just got better, the screen of the "Lava Cathedral" is nice and the hammer,
please make the hammer awesome, just for me.

(I wonder if anyone for any fangame would make a new item?)

I can't see the link to the download, will you be able to fix that? Or no...  :'(

What I've seen from the screenshots, this looks very promising, and will probably be great.

Well, like others have proven, you aren't the only one.
I did that too. I felt stupid and I hit my head multiple times with something hard.
It happens though...

THISis going to be the best at Z3, except if something else happens.
What I'm amazed at is your Dungeon Concepts and your artwork you've shown.
Very good stuff here. I wish I can get SOMETHING done in my Action-RPG...
But this, this is just excellent.

The Maren, interesting name, and backstory. You said something about a person trapped
in the nightmare world in long post earlier, is the shaman who used the "Shadowgazer"
to seal the Maren at first the one trapped in there, guiding Link? Just a guess.

Again, wow, just wow. This game is just that, wow.

Entertainment / Re: Whats you're favorite part in TP?(TP Spoilers)
« on: February 25, 2007, 01:31:09 am »
The music did fit that part of the game, which made it awesome.
However, my favorite part in the game was Fyer and his cannon.
Fyer did so much for you in the game, yet he was ignorant to what your
true goals were. Which made him awesome  ;D

Entertainment / Re: What is your favorite game of all time?
« on: February 13, 2007, 07:22:15 pm »
I would say The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, but upon further review and a new hindsight, I realize that the 3D Zelda games lack the "charm" of the 2D ones, or at least that is how it is to me.  So, I would have to say that the best game of all time would have to be a tie between Illusion of Gaia for the SNES and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past for the SNES.

The former has very fond memories in it; it took me a few years to beat it because I was young, the Mu stage sucked because of the damned vampires, getting all of the red rubies, and glimpsing into the future and understanding the character development made it more than a game.  LTTP on the other hand I am fairly new to, and it has not disappointed me yet.  The puzzles are fun, the music and graphics are good, and every part of the game is memorable; it is a masterpiece.
Wow, we have a lot in common. I do believe that Illusion of Gaia and LoZ: A Link to the Past are the best games I've played.
but there are some others I love, such as Kirby's Dream Land 3, Yoshi's Island, Metroid 3, Final Fantasy VI, and Sonic the Hedgehog 2 are the games I love and still love today. These Seven games are my true top ten games.

The original LoZ, I watched my mom play it ( and beat it) all the time when I was about one
year old. I really got into it about Link's Awakening and Lttp.

Lloyd, Zelos, Sheena, and Raine.
Kratos until you know what happens...
You can get Kratos back you know that right?
after you kill Zelos in the Tower of Salvation.
When I played the game, I didn't fight Zelos (I fought Angel Warriors Instead) and got me Zelos for the end of the game.

Would you be able to supply a link to a Zip file? If that is possible for you to do right now?
If so, thanks!  ;D
