Entertainment / Re: (Spoilers) Favorite TP boss? Thoughts?
« on: January 03, 2007, 10:09:43 pm »
I did feel that the bosses were too easy, I feel that alot of games are doing this, bosses are becoming
too easy!!!
Anyway, here's what I thought:
Stallord, truly my favorite boss, fun battle, swerving to dodge zombies, cracking his
spine, and then spining up walls to get to his head, fun, just fun...
A close second is Argorok, the battle arena and the lighting made it one of the most
epic battles in Zelda.
Fyrus had the best music though.

Bonk's Adventure, that is what you should get.
This is the only title I have downloaded, but it is worth 600 wii points. Probably one of the best
platformers I've played.

I'm playing for a second time through, I'm almost to the 4th dungeon and about 14-15 hours into the game(better than last
data!).

Forest Temple is almost as hard as the Water Temple.
I found the Dungeon to be annoying, but the game does get better.
The next dungeon is exciting.

YES!!! So many games that I missed being to young for the NES I will now own!

Ones I'm getting.

Duck Hunt: This will be awsome with the Wii controller!
Kid Icarus: W00t I've always wanted this one!
Metroid(original): Assuming this will be on there
Sonic(original): I only have played one old school Sonic game, can't wait to try the original, some say it was the best.
Mario Bros.: believe it or not I've never played this.
And is Kirby's adventure the first Kirby? I may get that.

Kirby's Adventure I belive was the 2nd Kirby game, the First (I'm sure about this) is
Kirby's Dream Land for the Gameboy.
Many awesome games coming! but I have alot of the games... REPLACEMENTS!!!

Entertainment / Re: w00t! I just got Shining Force...
« on: November 09, 2006, 01:41:43 am »
Shining Force is really good, I actually have it on one of the Sega Smash Packs (I think one) for the
PC. I've never played 2 and I haven't got that far on the first one.

Well, it hasn't arrived yet. But I won a bid on ebay (I know, ebay sucks, but it does have some good stuff, I got a studio ghibli box set for like $55, as opposed to getting the movies at $30 each).
I got Secret of Mana for the SNES on Ebay for 36 dollars without the box, very good deal, I love that game.

I tried the epona engine and I really liked it! I see you used the coding from Goodnight and
set global variables for if you are off the creature and when you are on, organized as well
and seems easy to use. I'll keep it on my computer.
Good Job! I have been looking at your game (since Z3) and I will like to see this in there.

Well, that's not the thing: because it's a public school building, but they don't allow you to discuss a certain IDEA, in this instance evolution, and I don't see any grounds for doing so.

Because your entire local government is made up of mormons, and most of your national government is made up of right-wing Protestants, most of whom are profoundly against accepting the possibility of evolution in any shape or form?

Still. Scream "FREEEEEDOM OF SPEEEEEECH" at the top of your lungs. That'll get their attention.
Hey! I take that as an insult!!!  >:(
But still, as that is not true, the evolution thing is a big topic today.
My Biology teacher does teach evolution (Of course it is in Ohio...) and I think it shouldn't be illegal to talk about
evolution in schools, some people will belive it anyways, you can't avoid it.

How is that insulting? For the most part, it's true. Evolution isn't something you sweep under the carpet; it's a scientific theory supported by a large amount of evidence, and from the current evidence, is the most logical explaination for the way things are.

A lot more logical than everything magically being created by an all-powerful being. ;P
Well, I find the Mormon comment insulting.

I know what true evolution is, and I know what the theory (2a4ap is right) is, I do not want to argue your beliefs and I don't
want to start anything.
But I would see why though, they are trying to stop religous wars in schools which is kindof hard anyway, being the different
cultures in Highschool...
But I do know that Natural Selection has proof, but it is still a Theory, not quite a law.

I use RM2K3 a whole lot! However, I only use it for traditional RPGs, which it works for me!
I use gamemaker for everything else.

Coding / Re: (GM 6.1) Creating objects at a click point ???
« on: August 16, 2006, 11:34:49 am »
You might want to limit the casting with variables and alarms, or else the game will be so easy.
Yeah, I know, Ben's code works but I'll have to find a way to limit with alarms. Wait, I have an Idea...

Coding / (GM 6.1) Creating objects at a click point ???
« on: August 15, 2006, 06:28:25 pm »
In Gamemaker version 6.1, how do you make a system where you click anywhere
(global.left or right button click) and an object (such as a spell object) is created where you
clicked?
Very confused... ???
