Wow, these look amazing  :)
Of those I think I like the master word best, tho that might be because I have tried to model a sword myself before and failed miserably xD

Posted some code I have recently used for collision detection to your GIT issue, don't know if it will be of any help tho xD I might be able to take a look at the engine and maybe help out some after the end of this month, have like 3 exams coming up in the next three weeks =P

You doing monsters etc. before tiling? =P Would assume static graphics would be done before animations and moving objects xD

Wow, even got the pokemon voices =D Always dreamed of a official pokemon game looking like this since I first picked up Pokemon Blue when it first came out xD

Don't think we'll see a pokemon game like this officially tho =( They insist on only keeping it on the portable systems, and thus working the the hardware limitations.

I tried the current demo, but only got an error.
After creating a profile and trying to start from it I get:

"ERROR in
action number 1
of  Step Event
for object objHighlight:

Error reading real."

Anyway screens looks good, and the lates update looks like it will bring lot's of new stuff ;)
Can't wait to see the next demo(Hopefully working ;) )

I have played and realy liked the first two games, I just love collecting stuff, and different challenges to get it. After hearing about this game, and it's step away from the two original games, I had(And still have) my doubts about this game. Tho, after reading your review I MIGHT get into buying it. I think I'll go download the demo tomorrow, and maybe figure out if it's worth the money.

Very good review, hope to see more of these in the future =)

Looks like you are making real good progress :)
The tiles fit in nicely(I see a few odd corners on the walls tho, like the top corner on the first screenshot)
Is it just me, or does the game look like it's running in widescreen? 0.o

I'm not entirely sure what you're talking about(C++ programming?)
But I think making a tool-window as a child will give you the behavior you described(Having the parent in focus, automatically makes the tool-windows have focus)
I'm not sure, I just remember doing it once(If I'm correct on what you're trying that is ;) )
