Discussion / Re: Triforce powers.
« on: January 10, 2014, 12:03:27 am »
Actually, at the very end of ALTTP, Link does get the Triforce. Not usable, but still gets the Triforce. If my memory does not fail me, in OoT it was said that the Triforce made the user's wishes happen, so I don't know how could it work there as an ability. Damn, this !@#$% is complicated.

Pretty much what whitay said, I like the community pretty much. I've been in some other forums, and people are not always nice with new people. I remember that I joined to ask Max to use his sprites x3. And then I saw a post from KoT, and got to know the rest of the guys here.

So, to answer the question, I love cookies :3

Congratulations! Nice game you got there  XD

Yeah, the secret passage I thought it more like "we're thieves, we need a quick escape if they found our hideout" or so.

Concept Art / Re: Ganon's Balcony

Looks good! But I'd like to see some more "royalty", maybe some statues or more flags :)

Same here. A couple of torches hanging on the walls would be nice. According to the perspective of the game, the floor is seen, so a red carpet with a symbol would be "royal" enough, I guess.

I think you could add another frame to make it look a bit more natural when he moves.

Yeah, just one thing right here. I'm not sure if Nintendo noticed about 2DS flashcards. No flashcard was developed for the 3DS because of the complexity on emulating 3D, however, some ROMs from 3DS games were made, as far as I know. So, as 2DS allows the user to play 3DS games without the 3D, I'm guessing those problems will be solved.

Nintendo would be losing money, as I see it.

So far I'm really liking the update! The ropes and smoothness changes really make a huge difference.

Ropes are great. Instead of having to jump all the way up with platforms, now you're able to go up with them  :D

« on: October 02, 2013, 12:49:50 am »
Yesterday, Terraria launched it's new version, Terraria 1.2. It's a major update which features lots of things, such as new ores, weapons, armors, over a thousand new enemies, including the new bosses, and some friendly NPCs.

For those who do not know what Terraria is, is a side-scrolling, platform, sandbox. Some call it Minecraft 2D. I'd prefer to say that Minecraft is Terraria in 3D with a lot less things.
The game centers around in making your home and stuff so new NPCs arrive. As you progress, things will happen, such as a meteorfall after you defeat certain boss. And after finishing off all the bosses, you can activate hard-mode, which brings all the bosses into it's hard counterpart.

You can check some of the features included in this update here:

Sorry TFS, but welcome to the League of Draven

You got it.

Anyways, Link has won, I think, 3 years in a row. It was about time some other character could beat him.

It was good.  I won't say great as there are moments I was like "...really...".
People within a robot within a robot within a robot within a robot within cross dimensional time and space...

Am I high?

ill be honest. i did not care for it. the last so many episodes i liked and were interesting, but the rest just didn't do it for me. now, don't get me wrong, im not saying its bad. it is good. guess ive really never been a giant robot fan. (excluding gundam :P)

I've never been a giant robot fan, which is something that put me off from getting into any gundam, but I loved seed, just for its story and the content all inside that world, not any giant robots. Same goes for macross frontier. How's gurren lagann on those terms? I've been interested in it since ages ago, but the only reason I'd watch it is if it had an awesome story full of emotion, much over just because it involves some certain object.

I neither am a fan of robot fightings and that stuff, but the story is so emotive. That's why I really loved this one.

And welcome back! It's been a while!

After 10 days, I finished this awesome anime. It's simply magnificent. The fact of having only 27 episodes is because there's no filler episodes! And that's sooooooooooooooo good

Kamina's death hit me so hard, but it still helped Simon a lot to develop.

And the second part is so good. I almost cried when all died. But it was so well put that death. And when Gurren Lagann evolved again. MAGNIFICENT

I can see that Star likes it for her title, and one of her profile pics  XD

Yeah, I've seen it during last summer, and I just found this sort of OVAs. They're called Sword Art Offline. It's like a news program remembering things of the game, and stuff. Very funny, actually.

Entertainment / Metro Last Light (spoiler alert)
« on: June 11, 2013, 11:16:55 pm »
I've finished now Metro Last Light, and I must say it's AMAZING. Every single point from Metro 2033 is much better here. The stealth system is very good, as in Hardcore you must be stealthy in enemies base or you're gonna get raped. Another thing I really liked is how the story is told, like in 2033, Artyom writing his diary. And, god, it's so good the story. Every time I listened to Artyom's words, I wanted to keep playing for hours.

The only thing I don't like is that the bullets are not as scarce as its predecessor. You can run out of bullets if you don't know how to rationalize, but in Metro 2033 you had to stab everyone and everything.

And the endings, for god's sake, so good. I actually like better the "Bad ending". Artyom looks so great on that ending, as he not fears death and blows everything up with himself. SO GOOD. His looks before death, closing his eyes. So fuckin good.

In the good one, yes, he lives, but he isn't showed as the courageous warrior from the bad one.

I really recommend this game, and for those who have already played it, any opinions, comments, or anything?
