Anyone else catch this flick? It was playing at my college's theater for only $1 last night so I saw it with some friends.
It's a pretty great sci-fi movie, stays away from a lot of the overly heroic cliches and to me seemed exactly what it would be like if average humans actually had to drop a bomb into the GODDAMN SUN. The actors respond very realistically under stressful situations and the movie raises some interesting philosophical questions about the value of one life versus the human race. The imagery is also incredible. Despite a few cheesy points it's a pretty great film.
