Hey, just wondering if anyone on here plays Battlefield Heroes?

Website:
http://www.battlefieldheroes.com/
It's totally free unless you want to waste money buying stuff... totally opt though.

My game name is [Edge] if anyone wants to join me. I'm a level 8, close to a 9 with my soldier (my main character). And all my characters are Royals except one is a National.
If you haven't played or heard of the game, you should check it out. Seriously, I thought it would be kinda stupid at first, but it turned out to be good fun!

Demo?... what do you mean? I never played any demo so I don't know what to say about that.

Not sure, but it happens to a lot of people with the same router i have (d-link), there is a topic on the BFHeroes forum where people talk about it.

Anyway, i like 1942 better, even though i play the demo.

Too bad about that router.

Gotta admit though, 1942 is an instant win. It doesn't work on my laptop though because I have vista (DEATH TO VISTA!!!), but I still play it on my ancient desktop every now and then. ^_^

Yea, I guess the only reason I like it is because I play with my brother, who lives pretty far away. And a couple other friends of mine also play with me.

I play BF1942 just fine on my vista laptop lol

?!?! ... I thought it was Vista because of my research online (other people blamed Vista as well). Guess I was wrong. New conclusion is that my laptop just sucks.  :'(

Does it give you an error or something when you try?

Nah, it's my graphics card I think. It'll run the game, but no menu shows up. You can't see the mouse or anything. It's still there, you just can't see it.

I want to like it, but it's so simplistic and recycled in it's gameplay... I just don't think it's very fun.  I like the graphics, I like the concept, it just feels old and boring playing.

I have CSS (had 1.6 for a while, but I like CSS better). I hate Steam though, so I hacked it out and I just play over LAN with my friends.  8)

(DIIEEEEE STEAM!!! >:D)

I actually play Counterstrike more than I do Battlefield Heroes. Honestly, I'm losing interest in Heroes, haven't felt like playing it in a while.

It's got rag doll effects and much better graphics. The downside is that it takes longer to load (I think...? makes sense to take longer). There might be a few other new things, but those are the major two that I like about CSS over 1.6.

EDIT:

Btw, this has gone off topic... but I guess were talking about a shooter still, so not too far off.. it really doesn't matter much anyway.
