It's a pretty fun game, but damn the touchscreen controls are annoying as shitfuck.

I'm past the

Ghost Ship after saving Tetra
, so I'm not too terribly far into the game. I have learned one thing though; The
Show content
Ocean King
must carry pictures with him everywhere he goes to tell his story <_<;;

Anyway; picked this game up for about $20 at Gamestop and got a free game with it. Preparing for when Walmart has ST back in stock :P

Yeah, it is a damn good game. And I really like the controls. They are definitely better than most games with touchscreen controls.

Nope, the pictures are drawn on the spot. Just like Rukia  XD

Good luck your in for a real treat. I think ST is better than PH.

I've been playing it on and off... It sorta holds my attention, but it keeps losing it somewhat quick when I have to go back into that damned temple... Stupidest game mechanic ever... I hate the sense of urgency (well not even sense; you LOSE if you run out of time in that temple) I get from it. Same !@#$% from MM I hated so much. Either way; at least there are checkpoints.

Than you probably will be glad to hear that the temple of the Ocean King has been seriously updated. No more repeating of floors, you can just skip them by climbing the winding stairs. And there is no timelimit for completing parts of the the spirit tower.

Yeah Spirit Tracks is a serious improvement over PH.

Why can't they just drop the mechanic altogether, and go back to the dungeon crawling of old? A much better idea if you ask me.

Actually, that still is the basic old dungeon/world exploration mechanic. Because back than, you often needed a key/item to unlock a new area or dungeon. You had to talk to NPC's to find the cave, crawl the cave, get the key and go to the new area.

WIth the spirit tower you talk to Zelda or Anjean, you go to a new part, crawl the new part, get the key and go to the new area.

So basically you do the same as always. You don't even have to repeat the same part of the tower (with the exception of the winding stairs room). The Spirit Tower is very different from the Temple of the Ocean King.

You can repeat rooms if you're so inclined, but it isn't necessary. Careful though; Zelda Phantom can be really stupid at times. I've called her and she's just walked into a wall until I manually drew her path to me. Than again, Zelda is blonde.

Lol not too much; I mean I saw it coming after beating the first dungeon, but eh... lol I just wish they had come up with an original flow of play instead of copying it from the previous game :p
