8-Bit Spirit's Quest Music

I'd suggest checking out 8BitCollective.com for inspiration and grabbing Pixtone samples from http://hp.vector.co.jp/authors/VA022293/ (http://homepage2.nifty.com/rochet/binaries/pxtone_0914.zip specifically)

weird, they both have exactly the same filesize... must be nothing for the mp3 to compress on such simple waveforms :p

Updated slightly, few more harmonies and melodies in there now.

Thanks for the links mammy :) Pity pxtone isn't a vst instrument, I've mostly been using the triforce, toad and peach instruments.

I miss a little of the brightness and pop that was in the first file. Loving this in general though; LttP Lost Woods is my favourite track from that game.

I think the two songs don't match... IMO you killed the original harmony of the LTTP song.

Dunno, I'd guess it's even harder for MP3 to compress 8-bit...

Sounds more polished than the version I have on my compy; very nice. Even though I don't think it'll fit in as a main piece, I do have an idea on how I can use this music as part of an easter egg. :3
