Nintendo did it on purpose....
« on: April 15, 2006, 01:10:36 am »
I'm looking through some Minish cap sprites when I finally come to the conclusion that Nintendo made Mc like it is on purpose. Your probaly going "WTF" but here me out. Minish cap sprites have almost all the poses of Oot, even the work men guys look like oot dudes. I think Nintendo did it so we could finally finish an Oot 2d. Your probaly going, "Yep, Piers finally lost it" but look at them. The menu system is almost totally like it. It has rolling sprites even though they don't need it. The first sword is like the kokiri blade. The water blade is like the master sword. Look at the boomerang and tell me that dosen't screem oot. This is my conspiracy and I will research tell I die. (Or tell I get board)

That's because they're both LoZ games, not because of fan-game-makers O.o

It has groundings in both; the graphical style is more WW, and many characters are based off WW characters, but there's also a great deal in it that is exclusively based off'f OoT.

Indeed, the builders were allready mentioned, oh and some is from MM, the postman for example hehe.

I loved seeing all the old characters in the MC style.

But they don't have ALL the sprites. Such as (obviously) Ghoma, bongobongo, that dinosaur guy, and that squid thing.

I thought of that too and my conclusion is they didn't want to make it to easy.

You see, I think Nintendo knows about ZFGC. Such a big community, at least ONE of their guys may have stumbled across this site, even just for once.

I won't say any more... XD

I bet someone here is from nintendo and isn't telling us..... who could it be? <_< >_>  I've always wondered if Trm is part of Nintendo. Someone with so much fandom you think they'd be the first to get a job there.

Y'know, thinking about it... it'd be ironic if they did make it for that purpose. I mean, so many fan game makers don't use MC sprites because they think LttP sprites are "purer", more retro, etc.

I don't use MC because I like the realistic feel and the cuteness of GB sprites. Mc doesn't agree with me.

yeah right. Nintendo likes to connect the games together, I mean just look at MM and OOT, same characters, different names, worlds, situations, etc. I mean, you're just taking it too far. And they don't want to make it to easy? That's bs.

Oh, and you guys do know that Capcom makes the handheld Zelda games, right?
