I sometimes wonder if people don't realise how firefox works and why it takes up so much ram.
You have one window, that basically opens other windows inside of it. IE6 runs seperate processes everytime you open it, so you don't pay much attention to the 10,000k or 5,000k processes that are entirely seperate. When you run firefox, and you have three tabs open you're most likely taking up about 30,000k of your ram or so, because you have 3 seperate windows open. IE also is sucked into windows pretty far, so the actual physical ram that it shows that its taking up is less than what it probably actually is.
On Diggnation, one of the co-hosts, said he 'd like to fork Firefox and make "Alafox" with his head spinning in the corner drinking beer (since thats basically what they do on the show). A fan of theirs created Alafox as a joke. I was mainly joking.
