The smart people take note of this and churn out more bad things in a similar fashion. By witnessing this cycle, you make it evident that you are above it and at least preserve your dignity. That is a little oversimplying, but if there is a market and a demand, then there will be a supply.

I gave Date Movie a shot, it was moderately funny, but every movie to follow... was the exact same

If you have seen some of my previous posts, you will know that I make everything an intellectual story even if the subject matter is not thought-out. Sadly, sometimes a cigar is just a cigar, but I am always hopeful that one of those kind of movies is just so bad that it is good. Kind of hard to pull off.
