In July 2005, the old Zelda Fan Game Central offered a competition to create a game in two weeks. Enter Team Kousou, and three weeks later, we came out with this:

In the Legend of Zelda: The Final Challenge, you have a choice of four characters, each with unique puzzles spread out over four seperate dungeons.

Production Team
Atrius - Main Programmer
Master K - Level Design
Mit - Programmer, Level Design, Planning

We got quite a nice reaction to this video when we released it.

Download it Here

You have to keep in mind that it was done in quite a small time frame, so its a bit... Unpolished.

Yeah... heh heh, I still remember talking to Mit about how many spikes & fires he put in the levels...  People still say theres a lot but it's probably less than 1/3rd of what was originally there, and somehow there are still some glitches in the game that I remembered fixing >:(

As for the music, probably not, but meh  ::)

Hard to say, its been so long.  I like playing as the Deku because of his abilities, but boss fights are hard because he's so weak, where as the Goron has the strongest attack.

The link is toward the very bottom of the first post in large, bold letters.

And I kinda agree about the Goron sprites, but we didn't really have the time to fix them.

This was for a contest to see who could make the best Zelda fan game in 3 (2 originally) weeks.  This game will remain unchanged from it's original version.

It was definitely one of the greater games of the competition. The ability to change Link's form was excellent, and you did things very well. An awesome job, I must say.

I got an error when I was putting in my name after choosing a character and I had to abort. :(

What was wrong?

Nevermind, all I had to do was press Ignore.

But I'm like, stuck in the second room in that weird temple. o.O I don't know what to do. I must shoot that eye, and there's a block I can move in there too.. Can anyone help? :E

Haha, nevermind again, the guy said "your arrows will bounce on hard stuff" and I tried on the block. :)

Sometimes it has trouble creating the save file if you haven't extracted the exe file.
