Title: Steam Holiday Sale '09 finally up, features ridiculous deals
Post by: Swoftu on December 26, 2008, 08:59:51 pm
http://store.steampowered.com/holidaysale (http://store.steampowered.com/holidaysale)

Everything is at least 10% off.
All Ubisoft titles are 25% off.
Many Valve titles are 25% off, including the Complete Pack which includes their entire lineup from Half-Life to Left 4 Dead. For those who picked up Half-Life for a buck a while back, both expansions are down to a dollar each.
The id Super Pack is back down to $35 for those who missed the first time it was on sale (and Ultimate DOOM and DOOM II are just a dollar individually)
Bioshock is five bucks.
Trackmania United Forever is down to $20.
World of Goo matches its WiiWare price of $15.
Games like Far Cry 2, Prince of Persia, Spore, Warhammer Online, and CoD4 are down to $37.50.
Fallout 3 is $40.

I'd rather not wait 6-8 days to buy something and miss a sale.

6-8 days? My paypal !@#$% is instant on steam.

That's to transfer money from my Bank Account to my Paypal account.

I'm still waiting 3-4 days for the activation alone to confirm the account.

Again 6-8 days? I just link my debit card with my paypal account and then pay for games using the paypal account. Its all instantanious. Paypal just automatically debits from my debit card.

I don't know, that's what it says. It's 3-4 or something for United States for transfer. 6-8 here.

I really wish I didn't have to use Paypal but I've applied for credit cards and prepaids and such but I get rejected cause lolcanada.

I got the ID Super Pack for 35$ I think?  Funny, the Doom Complete Pack is 36 bucks, and everything in that is in the ID Super Pack and more.

Deathmatch Classic is very addicting. It's pretty much a prettier version of Quake Deathmatch in a better engine.

TFC is also a prettier Team Fortress in a better engine :) Same gameplay elements as original. IMO, way more fun then TF2.
