Dude, how the crud could you think that's in LttP style? That's MUCH more like sidescrolling CD-i style.

It looks kewl, but PLEASE compare it with ANY other LttP sprite before you classify it as a LttP-type sprite.

But you don't have to be so mean, you could at least think WHERE IT COULD BE USED >:(

I think it could be used in a sidescrolling room like in Zelda 1 where you get the bow in DGN 1

My point was, that that ain't custom, it's traced! And he dares to deny it!
If it's not from that screenshot, then it's from another one.
It COULD be used for sidescroller, but he said it's lttp-style, which it clearly isn't.
I'm sorry if i sound rude, but i'm just stating the truth here.

It could have been used as a reference image you know, and not as a trace. And we all know it doesnt really match Lttp style but hey, everyone needs practice especially when tackling these complex monsters in TP so please, don't flame people when you don't personally know the methods they used.

This is a trace, quit lying.

so my friend stole a giant bag of ketchup out of the ketchup pumping things and brought it to our table and we took it in the bathroom and i smashed it over the sink and kicked it around the bathroom and smeared it everywhere and we all took turns kicking the ketchup out of it and when we were done it looked like an african village was murdered in the bathroom

Two points:
You can copy without tracing.
And something can be in LTTP style without being able to be used in an LTTP game.

The style of LTTP sprites was simple, dull colors with a grey outline and generally minimal shading.
The style of the LTTP game itself was a top-down Adventure.

So, it can still be LTTP style without being top-down.

As for tracing, theres no way to prove that it's a "trace" if he resized it. He could have used multiple mthods.

Actually, if it was like you said, it would fit into thousands of styles.
It's not lttp-styled, because it's too big, wrong angled and the shading is wrong for the style.

The two go hand-in-hand and are what comprise the LttP style itself. That sprite is not LttP styled. It might fit in a side-scroller. Actually, I'm more inclined to call it small pixel art :p.

But a sidescroller could be LTTP-styled, couldn't it?
Style ultimately decides visual chracteristics common to other works of the same style that create a continuous visual feel/connection between those works.

It is true that perspective could hypothetically be part of a style. But a number of works in the same perspective would most likely be seen as a study or series.

Given also that perspectives are not correct, possible, or constant in LTTP I don't think perspective can be considered a factor.
