Just wanted to show what I'll probably be using in my games I make.  It took a while to get things running smoothly, but I like the result.

Yes, I did make my own font there with a sprite.  Before I did that, I just used Courier New with Bold on, and Anti-Aliasing off.

Great work.  That looks really slick!  I love how you can manipulate the text in the middle of a string of words!

Hey, this is really nice. Faded text.. angled text... sweet, you really have allowed yourself to have great options to color the text with some nice personality. This has me thinking outside of the box for the text engine that I will be needing to make, so thanks very much for sharing this. :)

I really like this! Good job. The only thing I'm not sure I like is the animation for "Press Z to continue". Maybe you should make the blinking animation a bit slower because it makes me feel like having a seizure.

Thanks for the feedback guys.

Oh don't worry, that's not going to be like that in the final product.  The only thing that's there to stay graphics wise is the font, since I drew that myself.  The other stuff was just placeholders.  The actual textbox will have a design, rather than just a bland black rectangle, and also, I was going to make the "Z to continue" button an actual button that just keeps on pressing in and out, to let you know exactly what to do =).
