I'm in the UK, and I don't think anyone here calls it soda, unless quoting "who likes orange soda?"

Soda, and yes, the map agrees with me. :P (although I've always called it soda even when living in two other places on that map, both of which apparently call it pop).

iv conformed to the map, lol when iv lived here in ok, soda. whenn i moved to michagin, eventually became pop.

Everyone in South Dakota, (where I live), calls it "pop", but I call it "soda" anyway.  I don't like the way that "pop" sounds for some reason..

I call it pop unless referring to Jones cause the brand name actually has soda in it.

I call it soda pop.  I was born in an area where they call it pop, most of my family does, but we moved to an area where it's called soda.  I got sick of people not understanding what I wanted either way I said it, so I combined them.

Wow, that map is very strange.  The county in Georgia that houses the Coca-Cola headquarters, aka the Coke Capital of the World, is only 50-80% "Coke"

Personally I say soda.
