I was thinking of making a Shareware game (More than likely 3D) to make some quick cash. What kind of games would you all be interested in purchasing if I were to make something like that? It wouldn't be a full fledged humongous game. A simple arcade style game, or a fun addicting concept with lots of levels. So help me out guys! Thanks.

It'd have to be quite simple, but intreging and addicting (even if you only want to play it through once... each level should make you want to go onto the next).

A 3d kind of platform / sidescrolling thing could be cool

Make it better than arcade styled games, because I usually steer away from those.
All I can say, is make it worth the money. And hype it to death.

Okay, you're a guy and you have to explore these large 3D levels trying to find the goal, but there are little puzzles and stuff along the way, and it's like a time attack thing so you're always be going back trying to get a better time on the levels. :D?

Arcade games rule, make a simple puzzle games that adds more elements as you go along with a level editor, I get so addicted to those.

A nice 3D platformer :). With a hint of arcade. Like the "Adventure" mode in SSBM but more arcade-styled, like you have to collect things, and at the end of each level there's a giant thing you have to destroy, like the maiden's crystals in Zelda: FSA.

@_@ Woaaah. Lots of ideas here. Joeshmo, I already have an FPS in the works, but it's going to be bigger and take longer, so it's on the back burner for now. Rabid, I'm terrible at playing puzzle games but worse at coming up with original ones. What kind of puzzle is there that hasn't been done? Let me just come up with something to show for my previous idea. You'll like it, trust me. n_n (I hope)
