I have heard about those engines, but I don't know how to use them, or anything.
So I need a code of some sort to make Link moving nicely, like in the real games. That Link moves when the key is pressed, and stops when it's not pressed.
I know this is a "noobish" question, but this problem has been with me since I started to use Game Maker!

Mm, most people nowadays either make their own, or use Goodnight's legendary movement engine. Most people have also found Goodnight's is much better.

There's still one problem... I have no idea how to use the engines!
(You can see that I am bad at coding and stuff... ^^)

If someone could tell me how to use the engines I would be really happy :)

Hey there, I realise not many people here do this (they should), but check the Game Information text and read the code comments carefully to help understand how my GM engines go into games.

People don't do that 0.o, For me comments stand out so much i can't help but read them, and out of habit i check to see if the Game Information has been used, though 90% of the time it isn't <.<
