Some people can't except cash or gifts over the internet (parents, think everyone is a stalker). So what would they get? I would be willing just to take the victory, but some people wouldn't.

Diddly squat, I think. My advise would be to just not tell your parents :D. Anyway the organizers may be able to get some other 'online' prizes like site subscriptions and such, I'll prod them.

I agree with that idea, it's like "HOW DO YOU HAVE SO MANY RUPEESSS?????" "Well, I won a competition." It makes sense, as it is kind of forum money? D:

Make the dude who is offering the prize sign you up for a website/game you really love. Like, if you are a world of warcraft fan, they could buy you a WoW gamecard and tell you the code...

Nope, the prizes are coming out of my May paycheck. And if someone wins who cant accept cash or a video game, I'll discuss it over with the Events team on a possible alternate Prize.

How about the money is transferred to a good cause? Seriously, why not?

Dascu. That's a silly idea.
Also, if you go make a video game where someone goes berserk and kills video game creators because their son died at the hands of a crazy gamer, I'll donate $10,000 to charity.
