That new screenshot made me die of amazement.

The others were good looking, but this is beautiful as... as... as me!!! Lol.

I don't see anything in the lines of gameplay from those screens, but will look forward to seeing that later.

Its a rendered preview of the terrain I made, whether or not 3DGS will run it in such high resolution or not is another question....

still if anyone wants to help check here:
http://www.zfgc.com/index.php/topic,6133.0.html

Hmm, just as i suspected, the terrain is imported perfectly into 3dgs the textures however, are lost, which kinda blows...i'll have to retexture the terrain *dies*

Just as I suspected 3D Gamestudio wouldn't allow me to import the f%$&ing amazing textures into the game, the maximum it can cope with without messing with my script and wandering into the realms of the programming unknown is 1024x1024 pixels so the huge 4096x4096 pixel textures i had prepared are a no go, so disregard the last screenshot (which as I already explained was a rendered image)

For your pleasure then, I give you a new ingame shot with vastly improved graphics...look at that gorgeous sky, those trees, the higher resolution textures and let it be known that i still need help with the modeling, animating and scripting
heres the screen:

tell me what you guys think, also if anyone thinks they can help, go here:

I want this project to happen but unless i get someone to help with the animations it's gonna have to be cancelled, do you want that on your consciences? DO YOU? >.> click the link and no one gets hurt

He asked me before hand, I told him he needed to get the modelers permission so I assume he did.

Well, if that's the case, then I can only thank God that I have a new Link model to work with.

Say, Uppy... have you ever heard about my 3DGS project?  And would you by chance be interested in helping me out with that?  (We have a lot more progress done with production values, and such... but looks like you have a solid engine, and we could always use more help.)

LOL oh thanks dude. Yeah, i'd like to say the stuff is mine but the model was made by someone, see my first post about that, the textures are the Hi-Res texture pack for the OoT rom and the trees were made by loopix, The skybox and engine are mine as is the terrain, albeit with a lower resolution than i wanted but I'm still proud of what i've done so far.

I'm sure the Octoroks'll make an appearance. might make em land dwellers like the 2D zeldas too rather than those swimming freaks from OoT. I think i'm going to have a Moblin town too, hey they can be good guys if i want them to be

I believe xtremeexe is registered here... if not check ZFGC-X, and you can contact him via PM.  He'll usually respond within a week or so. :)

(he's the guy that made the link model)

Anyway, good luck with this!

EDIT: And if you can't find him, I can give you his email, if you need.

Hmm, been trying some different graphical styles out and this one has taken my fancy but i want your opinion guys, do you prefere the photo below or the one on the previous page with the Hi-Res textures, C+C will be appreciated, c'mon. I like this style but several people have told me they liked the other better so its up to you.

Be gentle....

I'd also like to point out that converting this image from a bitmap to a jpeg made it loose resolution.....
