Firefox Problems

Half the YTMND's I try to view, the music doesn't play and I get this message saying I need to install additional plugins.  Well, the only thing that comes up is "Apple Quicktime" as a manual install.  So I install it, but I still get that message.

Is there an extension or something I need to configure to get it to work?  Help is apperciated :(

quicktime.com install that and your good.

i had the EXACT same problem. go to apple.com and download and install quicktime. should work smoothly after that.

I installed it again just now, to be sure.  And it still isn't working.

I believe I already have the latest version, I'll check.

It's there,

npqtplugin.dll
npqtplugin2.dll
npqtplugin3.dll
npqtplugin4.dll
npqtplugin5.dll
npqtplugin6.dll

Alll Quicktime, as well as a description of what each one does.  All enabled.  Could it be that I have WMP as my default player for wav's and mp3's that's causing the problem?

I have the latest version of Quicktime...hmm maybe not plug in with FireFox...oh well. I use IE more than FF anyway.

Go to the Quicktime settings and select Browser Plugin in the dropdown menu.  Click on the button for MIME settings and see if you can enable some settings there that will make it work.  Personally, I have everything in the first three categories checked, plus everything in the Images category except for BMP and PNG, which I let Firefox handle on its own.
