Doubled, the size was 256x256. Our window size is 320x256 however, and your maps are in the 500 range.

256 x 256, then? Or 320 x 256? Do you want Koholint to be surrounded by clouds like mine, or an endless ocean? Also, I need to know if you want anything in particular you feel is missing from the map I made.

I think clouds will work. The dimensions will form themselves as you build, I guess. Whatever feels right to you. I don't think anything is missing, however I don't see the Face Shrine anywhere.

I think the biggest set of sprites you guys will need for your LTTP style LA games is a brand new link sprite sheet... I say this because LTTP Link doesn't work at all with the sidescrolling mechanic.

I think the biggest set of sprites you guys will need for your LTTP style LA games is a brand new link sprite sheet... I say this because LTTP Link doesn't work at all with the sidescrolling mechanic.

Have you tried this? In the FSA beta, which also used a sidescrolling mechanic in VS mode, the Links were LTTP styled.

And it looked like they were leaning away from the camera the whole time :P It was horrible visually, and that's the reason they took them out. It was beta. Placeholders. The sprites looked unprofessional and just godaweful for the sidescrolling.

You could probably do it easily by modding the current lttp sprites; as they are right now, they're 3/4th view. If you can get them to be a proper straight on view with no shadow it should work out fine.

Alright, Joed, I already sent you a PM as to what I'm gonna do with the world map (so that I can redirect my thread to where I'd like it to go :P).

In my Koholint map, the Face Shrine is just west of Kanalet Castle. I wanted to keep it like the deserted shrine it is, so there's a lot of overgrowth, but stone as well. Also, the shrine entrance itself can be clearly seen in the northwestern most part of the area.
