We can totally have like 8 characters per user right?

Being a rogue, he doesn't have all that much money for such things.

I laughed :P

I had to vote Plait though, as I tend to have an affinity for thick-lined cartoon vector art. Darius is thin-lined realistic pencil art. Despite the art though I think both are strong characters story wise.

Still haven't figured out what Burn-Out is.

That's what I love about his story. It's not clear. Burn-Out is the voice in the man's dream. He's a monster of the dream world, and he can burn your head off. :D

I'm still waiting for him to meet his arch nemesis Gator-body, also known as Man-head

Yan is incredibly well drawn, but I do enjoy the sci-fi type stories more usually

I'm gonna have to vote for Anquan. I like the idea of the Nintendo rock band crossover, it'd probably make a better rhythm game than a character. It's the mixed sprite styles that turn me off from the Rock Crossover, good luck nonetheless :)

I made Guitar Brah... but I voted for Burn Out. Great character :)

Damn... I was kidding, but didn't think of it as line segments, didn't know the line could actually be curved, and didn't know you couldn't go through multiple times. So much for attempted jokes huh. !@#$% you Houdini, !@#$% you.

haha good character :P

also Homozygoat isn't a character for obvious reasons, Purrtato has too little content, and the Farrower had too much content ::)

WW and Metroid music both are top notch. A video game's music is almost as big of a factor as the game itself in many ways. It bugs me when modern games have shitty music, or no real music to speak of. One of my only gripes about Dark Souls is the lack of music. The silence was cool and creepy for a bit, but even some ambience would work great.

The quirkiness of Mother music is indeed great, it's why Cave Story also has great music. Nice throwback to old chiptune music as well.

Entertainment / your favorite video game music?

I'll start with some good stuff from Mother 3
All the Mother games have excellent music! The classics like Mario, Zelda, and Final Fantasy are also all obvious choices for great video game tunes.

I started with classic rock, some of my favorites are still Led Zeppelin, Queen, Beatles. I'm also really into progressive rock like King Crimson and YES. Another progressive band, although very different than any other that I have been permanently obsessed with for the past few years (seen 4 shows now!) is PHiSH. They have a lot of different styles, this quintessential piece being a mix of classical fugue-like composition and 21st century progressive funk rock. The comical part is the only lyrics that aren't nonsensical are "Boy, man, god, shiiiiiiit"

They focus a lot on live improvisation and extensive full band jamming, as opposed to just one person soloing over the same chord progression. Inspired of course, by my other favorite band, the Grateful Dead. I'll post one of their songs too, just because they're also misunderstood by a lot of people, who think it's just for drugged out hippies. I quit all drugs a while ago and still love this type of music.

Romani guitar-driven gypsy jazz is another favorite genre of mine. Django Reinhardt, Angelo Debarre, etc. Great stuff! I can get into some rap, although not much of it. I like some older Eminem stuff, like the song "It's OK" where he raps about happy stuff, very different from his angrier later stuff. I also like some old rap like A Tribe Called Quest. Could never get into heavy metal or dubstep. Gypsy jazz is my favorite, but any jazz is great.

I love the subtlety in the story telling, probably my favorite character so far.

Sorry to single out one silly typo, but...

-_- Seriously? It does not mean I think Sony is all high and mighty. Compare the PS3 to the Xbox, the PS3's GUI looks too plain while the Xbox one gets updated every once in a while and stays fresh and new. They also came in late with several features that Xbox came with at launch. If it weren't for Microsoft fan boys, the PS3 wouldn't even have those features. The service is also bad sometimes. This week, I've been faced with hexadecimal errors (the ones that tell you nothing) when trying to get on the Playstation Store and change my password.

I do think that some fan boys are ignorant but what can you do? Seriously, some people say stupid shiz. The problem is that some fan boys believe what they want and know nothing about technology or how anything works.

Nah man, I was just laughing at you saying you ARE a fan-game, when you probably meant to say you'd consider yourself a fan-boy
