This is similar to my idea for sorting the request topics in Graphics Requests which were met (meaning content was provided for them, some of which was non-ripped graphics, and non-content was deleted) into the MC & FS, LTTP & FSA, OoA/S & LA, and Other Zelda. Basically it is an archive of successful request topics which by virtue of their content now have as much as a regular Graphics topic. Basically old topics from Graphics could also be moved to the Graphics Requests child boards; I know that might be semantically confusing in that the topics didn't start out as Graphics Requests but as mentioned their content amount is similar, by being old they are often requested by people looking for them, and the Graphics Requests child boards make searching through the boards a little easier.

If anything it would be cool if you combine your idea with the work I started - in that you'd have four sticky topics but only one in each of the Graphics Requests child boards. This would allow people to blindly search through topics in the style they want or to be able to look through your topic if they are looking for a topic which suits them. Then again this would be easiest to set up if the one doing the most of it had global moderation powers (and those helping would be possibly given local moderation - if they made an error the one with global moderation abilities could correct it).

If your goal is to get a few to many people organizing stuff then even just having local moderation abilities helps because if everyone is just regular members they'll have to still coordinate with this existing topic and wait for you to add what they're doing. Hypothetically others could make their own topics like yours and they could do it on their own but that really depends on a few to many people doing anything. But really in terms of practical reality, the likelihood is that any effort to do this will be handled by less than a few people. If you think moderation abilities would hinder members from feeling like they could contribute to the organization, it could be set to allow people to post in topics but not create them - so that they could say which resources were helpful to them, and those that did make more comments on what was helpful could later be given local moderation abilities by you to assist you if they wanted to.

Organising old graphics topics into the request areas is something I agree with. Thinking about it, I may have given up my moderator status too soon. Can I have it back? XD I wouldn't mind moderating the request section along with managing this topic (plus the others like it when I get around to them).

Moving this topic to the appropriate request topic might not be the best route. Think about it from the point of view of a new visitor. The goal is to have him/her find this topic as easily as possible. A child area would be visible from the top forum layer. The second best option is to keep the topic here as a sticky with a clear descriptive name.

Moved some request topics and expanded the starting post.
Feel free to comment or suggest additional resources (preferably with credits and original location mentioned if present).

I've found a LttP style Volvagia, on this forum it's by aab as the sheet says. It is very good, and I though I should show what I found. Also MaJoRa, I found your Ghoma Larva Sprite.

Wow... That's an interesting rendition of Volvagia, indeed...

I was talking to my friend last night, and he was mentioning about how in 1980, he thought the internet would become this amazing place where people from across the world would share ideas. I was telling him about how this project [KOT] has worked, lurching along for years and drawn by different people from across the globe, and he thought it was beautiful. And he was right, it's awesome. :D
