More events!

"Events", such as character competitions and the such are great ways of bringing together the community and attract new members.
I think we definitely need more of these, and I don't think there has been one for a while.

I'd be happy to help host any such event. Post your ideas here.

Well, I'd like to see an official writing competition, not unlike the one I'm already holding. Spriting comps, music comps, anything. They are very easy to handle and create, I'm surprised at how sparse they are.

Literature is really not cared about as much as it should be. An official writing comp would be cool...

We've still got Z3 coming up, and we've been discussing the possibility of a sprite compo.  Can't give away too many details, but it looks exciting.

I still say we should do that Hylian Idol thing again, hehe.

That isn't enough though, most of the popular, thriving forums have many events going on at once. I'd be more than happy to help with anything at all, hell, I'll manage the entire thing.

We do need events, we abolished the former events team due to 'issues' with 'management' on my part, and the part of a few others, it just didn't work the way we had planned on doing it. We do plan on establishing something, and I'm not fully sure how it will work at the moment, but something will be established soon enough.
