EDIT: Soooo East Clock Town is pretty much finished.. Maybe some tweaking here and there. I went pretty crazy with the colors for East and intend to do the same for West. I like how it came out for the most part. Comments and suggestions appreciated. :) There may be a few tiling errors, I had to pull all these together pretty quickly.

------------

EDIT: Just a small update. .. I'm not a good spriter. I like tiling, but I really could use some work when it comes to spriting.. This took me way too long and went through about six different types of wood. But anyway, this is what I've come up with for the Treasure Shop. The entrance will be in South Clock Town now rather than East.. because it's not possible otherwise :P

I'm working on East Clock Town now. I changed the brick floor tiles for South Clock Town to horizontal and I like it a lot more. So thanks Master Yoshi. :) I also made the awnings even. I'm not sure if I'm adding the flags, yet. And I like the color scheme for each place separately, still.. So I'm going to wait to make North Clock Town more cohesive overall until East and West are done. No plan for that yet. Thanks for the comments. :)

------------

EDIT: So, I added South Clock Town. Most of it is done.. I haven't convinced myself if I would actually leave the flags in if this were a real fangame. Not that that would ever happen hahah. The other thing that's really bugging me is the stairs to Laundry Pool. I'm trying to stay as close to GB as I can, and then just amp it up a bit. The stairs really shouldn't be going down.. We'll see. I haven't tried to do the ginormous treasure chest yet, I may work on it now. I also kind of feel like the area with the wood is a bit plain. Don't really know what I could do, though. AND I don't know how I feel about this color scheme in conjunction with North Clock Town. It just feels dull for Clock Town, you know? I haven't figured out a way to get patterns on the wall, either. Lots of I don't knows. But.. there it is laid out, anyway. Let me know what you guys think.

------------
I was bored tonight. :P
Feel free not to notice the shoddy balloon.
I wanted to mix up to color scheme to match the feeling you get when running through Clock Town. I feel like even with good music, the atmosphere is lost when you transition into 2D. So.. I tried to compensate. I already noticed a mistake, though. Haha As soon as I finished, I was taking one final run through North Clock Town in the actual game and I realized that the section with the hole is level with the entrance to the fairy fountain. Link is able to climb the fence. Whoops.

Simply excellent, it looks so busy and is a very good match to the original. I like the way you re-interpreted the slide. I would be interested to see you do some more of this.

As usual, you have converted the 3D area into a faithful GB rendition. I'm honestly not surprised! I wish I was as skilled as you... Regardless, great job!

Thanks guys, I appreciate it! :D I'd love to sprite all of Clock Town again and compare it to the original I made, but I can't figure a way to make the walls from the game look GB enough. We'll seeeee.

Hmmm.... the walls of Ambi's Palace wouldn't work, even if you tweaked them a little?

I agree about the colour scheme, its all to similar to itself, you need more contrast in it, that's the problem. As for the layout, I like it, its pretty close to the original. Looking at what you have to work with in the GB style also, I think the stairs going down was the best option, I don't think you could have had it look right otherwise.

Mhm, looking good. North clock town just looks a bit wierd compared to the others because of the darker colors.

My suggestion would be to make the huts parellel to eachother, and have your line of flags hang low in the middle like in the artwork.. and I think your tiles would look better if it were horizontal bricks instead of the diagonal. Dark bricks separated by white cement. You could definitely do the center walkway with diagonal bricks though, it would contrast well.

look's awesome, for a game that has 3 levels of brown it's very well shaded.

I cant wait to see East Clock Town.

Neither can I. And plus, if it's GB, we already have an official GB Ballad of the Wind Fish!

Mirby: .. What? lol I don't understand what you mean to say. :P But Ballad of the Windfish is my favorite Zelda song. :)

Wonderful! I don't really care for GB/GBC style, but yours never ceases to amaze me. The only thing I'm concerned about is, were is the bell that goes ontop of the Inn?

That... is...  :o

Also, Random, just because Sprite Collector makes these doesn't mean they're different from true GB/GBC style; he tries to remain faithful to that style in the same way that Master Yoshi tries to remain faithful to LttP style. I only bring this up because your wording seemed to imply that SC's style and GB style are different when, in fact, they're the same.
